With a decent menu of lunch sets, try the wide selection of tea. Someone will make it right in front of you, from the warming up of tea pot, to preparing the tea cups to pouring it out in the proper way. The lady even let my son do the craft to pour our own tea. After your meal, takes... More

I am no tea expert, but I learned a lot during the two visits I have made here. There are options for just tea, just afternoon tea (which involves food), and food and tea. I've had both a meal and tea, and just afternoon tea. Everything was tasty and lovely. The staff is multi-lingual as a whole; not all individuals... More

There are not many places to see in Taichung but this's. On very busy street it looks like island of harmony. Interior is very charming. We enjoyed tea tasting and also food was good.

The surroundings of this place is gorgeous, to be sure. The classical Chinese architecture of the tea house, with its winding wooden passageways and a pavilion sitting in the middle of a pond teeming with koi makes you feel like you stepped into an imperial China of the past. What is more remarkable is that this teahouse is situated right... More

So glad I found this gem, one of the highlights of our trip. It's amazing that it's in the middle of the city, the pond and plants help you relax. The tatami mats were comfortable, so you can hang out and enjoy the delicious green tea. We order the Thai Style chicken which was good and tasty, and I dont'... More

If you are in this area and love tea or history you must visit and have tea at this place. Once you step in from the noisy crowded streets you will be blessed with a quiet surreal tea house experience.

it was such a lovely place in the middle of hustle bustle. You get total privacy if you reserve one of the rooms in the restaurant. You do have to sit on the floor the whole meal but it was a great experience. Food was excellent and inexpensive. Service was slightly slow but I think that's just the culture :)... More

The peaceful and quiet environment made you to enjoy the tea with food, enjoy the great time with friends and families, and also enjoy the beauty of garden. The tea is a little pricy compare with the chain store (春水堂), but the environment worth the price.
