This place is average, not worth you trying to find it. If you're in the area it's not bad but you can find fresher food else where. The ladies are nice and the restaurant is clean. My title is that because most of the reviews aren't for the restaurant its for the museum or watching actual haenyeos!

Friendly owner and family and very fresh sea-food. You can actually see the shellfish, fish, and crab in the tanks at the restaurant. The prices are reasonable and while it isn't the BEST seafood I've had in Korea, it is very good and I would eat there again. We had the seafood stew but they also have a selection of... More

Contains some of the best exhibitis of any of the Jeju museums and certainly, the backstory of the storied "women divers" is sure to fascinate. Allow yourself plenty of time here...be sure to take in the view from the top floor terraces.

I saw one of them, but their show is often canceled because of the high or low tide. You are lucky if you can get to see them singing.

I learnt a lot about Haenyeo women and their skills, how they lived and worked. Diving from wooden boats into depths for more than 2 minutes without air tanks even in treacherous seas. They are very strong and have survived many hardships. I admire them tremendously and they are still at it - most of them now between 50 and... More
