Don't believe the reviews. The building is gorgeous a old factory and the beer is mediocre. The French onion soup was salty and inedible. Had to ask hostess to find us a waitress at 2:39 on a Friday afternoon. They let people smoke at the bar and the burger and salmon were over cooked and tasteless

From the easy parking close to downtown to the fascinating historic adaptive reuse of an old commercial/industrial building the logistics of Evans brewery is a place to eat and bring old of town friends or clients. Tasty and diverse pub fare. I have been there many times and have enjoyed many menu items. Never disappointed.

This is a good place to visit even if you do not want beer. The meals are well prepared and hearty with enough variety to please most. The industrial building houses a brewery and relics of the municipal water system machinery. Weekends are usually very busy but we stopped in for lunch on a weekday and were seated immediately. Our... More

Loved the poor soldier's porter. Unfortunately, they more than likely not serving it. But a good selection for most. Better than average pub fare, but pay slightly more too.

Had some craft beer and a burger with fries. I felt the food and drink was average, nothing really special. People obviously enjoy this place since we had to wait about 15 minutes for a table. Lots of people in office attire so appears to be a popular place for the local business workers to go for a meal

Always attracted to brew pubs and the building was a great renovated place. Even with a reservation, we had to wait a good bit to get seated. Service was friendly and efficient but some food came out cold. Had trouble getting drink refills. Menu didn't have a speciality or seem like it was give much thought. Trouble with just regular... We love this place! The cool building overlooking the water and the bustling crowd make for a great time for a group. My daughter goes to UAlbany and we never miss a chance to go to our favorite place. The servers are awesome and the food is good. The selection of beer is great too. When in Albany go to... More

The atmosphere was awesome! The room with the fireplace had a lot of character. The brewery is a fun backdrop. Have been there for lunch and had good food and service. Dinner was a bit of a let-down. I had over-cooked sea bass and "rice pilaf" - really - rice pilaf? I thought maybe it would be a modern interpretation... More

Passed through Albany while on NYS trip and lucked into this cool place. Surprising wide ranging menu and high quality. And an on-site brewery as well. Casual, fun, quality - definitely stop in.
