Stopped at the Albany Visitor's Center for Albany and surrounds info, inquired about lunch and were recommended here. We had a delightful lunch--salads, burgers, soups, sides, very item was very good. Our waitress was knowledgeable about the brews and answered our questions guiding us to...More

There is a fireplace in the back room that is everything. Friends, beer and food around the fire during the cold months are great.

Went with a group of nine and they were very accommodating. The building was very intriguing and had a lot of character. We started with the beer pretzels and deviled eggs. Both of these appetizers were delicious, but the pretzels were amazing. Make sure to...More

Very disappointed... went for a late lunch hoping to get their French onion soup and was told they no longer have it on the menu! Instead we got cups of potato leak soup and vegetable minestrone, which was good. I got chicken fingers which were...More

Good beer. Good people. Good times. If you want good libations in a casual spacious historic setting served by welcoming and willing staff for a reasonable cost then this is the place to go.

Tomato soup and calamari has been excellent since they opened over 18 years ago. Never a bad meal, good beer selection and nice surroundings. Can be a bit chilly in the winter time. I only give it a 4-5 rating because parking can be a...More

The Pump House offers lots of different beers made on the premises along with pretty decent bar food - burgers, sandwiches, etc. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual. Prices are moderate and this is a reasonable option for a relaxed dinner. Service can be slow...More

I was alone in Albany, on business for a few months, and as a single woman, I sometimes found it difficult to venture out alone. I never felt uncomfortable here; whether sitting at the bar, or in a booth...free wi fi helps. Chili is the...More

We went there for dinner one night, but the staff was not very nice, and the restaurant was over reserved due to a concert. Tons of open tables but would not seat us. Tried again the next night. We were able to get a table,...More

Plenty of beers, and other food and drink as well. But the very lightly breaded fish was awesome. Enjoy!

Never had one. The Pump Station has made a lot of recent changes to its menu What new things I've tried have been good, however I haven't had the bean-burger. But I will someday.

Not a private room, but two separate areas on the balcony level above the restaurant. They are sufficiently removed from the bustle of the first floor bar and dining areas that they feel quite private. Call Tim or Neil and... More
