I have been to thuis place several times now. As far as I am concernjed it is the best Mexican/Latin American restaurant in the Capital District. Portions are very large, everything is home made including the taco chips and salsa. Prices are great. Best deal in the noon buffet on Mondays. All you can eat for $8. Just a great... More

Salsa Latina features authentic cultural dishes that are pleasing to the eye and the stomach. I have eaten at Salsa Latina a few times and have always had my food hot and delicious. Looking forward to my next trip there.

I asked a good friend born in Mexico where she likes to eat in Albany. She used to like another place but it became "to fancy for me" but recommended Salsa Latina, a smaller, laid back and very comfortable setting with great tasting authentic food. The selections are numerous, the portions very generous and the prices more than reasonable.

Great place for lunch. Great value. Good food and service. Authentic Spanish/Mexican cuisine. Two for Tuesday promo is buy one lunch get one free. Also good margaritas on the rocks in regular, large, & grande. Plenty of seating. Wait staff was attentive, efficient, friendly. Also plenty of street and lot parking (metered). This was probably our twelfth time in the... More

Visited Salsa Latina on Central Ave in Albany and the Mexican food was good as anything I've had back home in Arizona. I had a shredded beef chimi covered in nacho cheese and ranchero sauce and Mexican rice. It was great. The chips were good and the salsa was on the mild side. Nice meal.

This is my fourth time here and I have never been disappointed. Friendly staff. Ok prices, most dishes $15-$20. Great food. I brought a friend who lives in NYC and he had the grilled fish and enjoyed it. I had a Mexican dish that was very good. Salsa & chips were good too.

The food was good, fresh and authentic. But $16 for a Modelo(beer) and a shot of Cuervo!? This is Albany NOT Manhattan

Went here at the suggestion of a friend. My friend was right, best Mexican food in the Capital Region, and the price was great, especially for lunch. I'll be back

From the outside, you may not venture into the wonderful gem of a place, but trust me - it's worth you checking it out! The flavors are expertly combined and the portions are plentiful. The wait staff are very friendly and willing to chat with you beyond just explaining the amazing menu.
