we set outside - near the Kinneret - great views, the service was fast and great - we got pickles, olives, and a little salad as free starters - ordered Humus & an eggplant salads - they were pretty small comparing to other restaurant we have been to in Israel (the price was almost the same) - the children's hamburgers dishes... Very nice restaurant, tasty food, reasonable price and good service. A little bit "on a beaten trap", and could be sometimes crowded by tourists. If weather permits, try to catch outside table (just above the lake); when it's cold - insides could be also very nice.

I love this place. I always take people here if I can. Tasty, unpretentious, and best place to sit next to the Sea of Galilee. Good coffee too.

Had a celebratory meal with friends, starting with salads and all having the St Peter Fish (all accompanied with the scrumptious fresh lemonade). The service was excellent - don't be offended when they point out to tourists that the service is not charged in the bill. The food was amazing - the salads were numerous and varied (and we could... We're there with one of my family members. The food was great a bit pricey and the view was great too. The waiter told us that he would bring salad as a starter which we did not ask and said it was on the house. As I went to pay for the food he told me the amount and of... More

It's had to say which is better, the food or the service or the view. We were only there for a late dessert and coffee, all of which exceeded our expectations! The service was superior, attentive and very personable. And the view, sitting alongside the fabled Sea of Galilee was spectacular! Wonderful!!

We happened to be in Tiberias after a full day of touring and asked a local to recommend a good fish restaurant. He immediately recommended Galei Gil which has been in business for over 50 years. Hands down it was the best fish we had on our trip to Israel. We tried the local St. Peter and Mullet from the... More

Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in the Galilee. The delicious food, along with the outstanding service, will make you want to return time and again. The selection of salads that accompany the entrees is amazing. Be sure to go hungry because you won't want to fill up on salads! I highly recommend any of the fish. They will grill... More
