We've been going to Kyoto for many years and saw it through its ups and downs, changing menus, different interior designs and staff. The only thing that doesn't change is the quality of the food. The sushi is always fresh, the veggies are crunchy, the sake is hot. The atmosphere in the place is a matter of taste but foodwise... More

I won't say it's bad. It's certainly cute and friendly, but the food is rather plain and lacked some key spices. I'm not a picky eater but if you serve average food, the price should match as well. Service was warm and friendly. Service -A Food - B- Price as relates to quality - C Prices, service and food combined... More

We made reservations for dinner midweek at 18:30. Restaurant was pretty empty when we arrived. Our waitress was busy tutoring a new hire. It seemed like she was more focused on her then on us, as everything we asked for was Ignored. We asked for low sodium soy sauce we received the regular one. She asked whether we needed utensils we... More

Last week i had an hour to spend with a business friend and chose Kyoto - a very wise choice - the tofu in spicy sauce was very good and the sushi was excellent - matched by very fine service.

That's it, we gave it another chance, but no more...they need to cut the number of dishes as they simply cannot get them right. Sushi sub par at best, fish is simply not fresh. Noodles are way over cooked, even tofu which they used to be great at was soggy, quite a shame cause we used to enjoy going there.... More

Definitely the best Japanese restaurant in the area. No matter if you're in for sushi or other type of Japanese dishes - all are of excellent quality and are served in a fine-dining level. Very good service. Large bar sitting area. Very nice decor. Parking is an issue at peak hours.

This is only one I can enjoy authentic Japanese cuisine. Even they don't serve Kosher though, their quality is amazing. I recommend Sushi, not rolls. Quite expensive, please be minded.

Description
For over a decade, the "Kyoto Herzliya" restaurant is serving Sushi and Japanese cuisine of the highest quality. Over the years, the restaurant had become a culinary institution and has been a role model for other Israeli Japanese restaurants. Due to the increasing demand, two additional restaurants were recently opened: The "Kyoto Poleg" restaurant, in the "Ir Yamim" mall and "Kyoto Ra'anana" in the city's industrial area. Both restaurants serve sushi and Japanese cuisine with great commitment to the kitchen's quality and meticulousness found in "Kyoto Herzliya". Nevertheless, each restaurant has its own concept and "character". We invite you to explore our website and view the menus, design and atmosphere of each one of the chain's restaurants. We welcome you to enjoy our quick and friendly take away ordering experience straight from the website. Bon Appetite.
