Here there are two types of fried banana, the regular fried banana (rather sweet), cut into a fan shape or the other one called pisang goreng goroho (goroho... More

You should eat it with chilli sauce. Since I'm not fond of spicy or hot food, I ate it without one. So it's just ok for me...

You see dozens of these along the road, so we had to try it. Our dive boat captain pulled up along shore and the youngest staff member drew the short straw and waded in to get a few bags for the boat. But not to my liking, cold, too sweet and a bit greasy, the locals sure seemed to like... More

This food experience is usually for locals. They love to hang over and have some chats while eating fried bananas and some cups of coffee. While you eat, you can enjoy the views of Manado sea and the view of Old Manado (Manado Tua) island. It's nice to try, but not a best hygiene concern.
