1) The food was overall quite good except it's on the salty side. 2) The price of this Kelong restaurant was relatively high. 3) The scenic view was not bad. 4) There was some flies flying around while I was having my meal which makes it not so pleasant.

We stayed at Nirwana Resort Hotel and ate at Kelong for our last night. We came at about 5.30pm to catch the sunset at 6pm whilst having drinks at the Calypso Floating Bar. The bar let us bring our cocktails back to Kelong to finish whilst we were having dinner. The service was excellent though we did need to ask... More

This is my third visit to this restaurant. Very fresh seafood, good cooking, abundance of choices, friendly servers... however, the price is really expensive. A small garoupa fish steamed hk style costs about $80sgd. This is similar to very well-known Chinese restaurants in Singapore. But still, compare to the restaurants in Bintan Lagoon Resort, the Kelong restaurant in Nirwana is... More

Fresh seafood, great ambience, decent taste but it was overpriced. Bali is way cheaper for seafood and quality.

Very fresh and well prepared seafood. The place is about 10 minutes by shuttle from Nirwana Resort Hotel and a must visit. Advise; - avoid late evening (after 9pm) as the staff tends to be very slow.

The restaurant was located by the sea with a nice sea breeze but not air conditioning. It served fresh sea food like crab and lobster. Though not bad, the dishes were just taste average and the service was just fair. However the charge was expensive. With this price tag, the customers deserve a much better service and more tasty dishes.

We just spent the long weekend at Nirwana Beach Resort and had dinner at Kelong twice! The black pepper crab is excellent (maybe better than Longbeach in Singapore!). Price for 6 people was >300SGD which is very expensive for Indonesia. Plenty of live seafood to choose from as well as non-seafood or vegetarian options. Food other than the crab was... More

This restaurant has a great waterside location and ambience. Unfortunately, if you are curious enough to see where the "fresh" fish come from you will be as disgusted as we were. There are ditches or sloughs under the restaurant which serve as holding tanks for the fish. The fish are kept in overcrowded conditions and look lethargic and near death.... More
