It was a good experience to be at the Uppercut, this steakhouse is inside JW Marriott Hotel Surabaya. Previously it was a French Diner which I found so so.. so it is really a good call.
Restaurant ambience is really good, you’ll feel comfortable, service is also really good, and the most important is the food is really good as well. I Don’t find any downside except just the price :-) however it is worth the value. Recommended!

This accidental lunch of mine was very exceptional and meets my expectations. Great service, ambience, food and service! From the very beginning the bread and homemade butter was SUPERB and yet they hit the jackpot with their steak. Its kinda hard in Surabaya to find a place that cooks meat perfectly as my preferences. Mas suryanto and mbak Erna serves me well and kind too. I can't thankyou enough to both of them. I'm alone for my lunch time and they carefully try to separate groups and individual dine-in, I got to savor and enjoy this lunch in peacefulness. So to sums this small review up I'm very happy and satisified!!!!! - andrew

They deliver one of the best fine dining experiences in Surabaya. We ordered a mocktail for the starter and then move on to the main dish, Tomahawk, with gnocchi. creamed spinach and red wine for us to enjoy, all recommended by Pak Utomo. 5 stars. Good service, good food.

My wife and I had a great time in this restaurant. They did everything precisely and served us with well manner. They have good quality of meat and fresh seafood. They also have a wide variety of wine..... it makes the meat eating experience become complete! Kudos to Uppercut

I ordered Bone Marrow for starters, US Prime Rib Eye (Medium, Truffle Mushroom), and Grandma's Tiramisu for dessert. It tastes very amazing yet delicious.
Chimicchuri sauce that served with the bone marrow can’t stop me smiling 😍😍
And big thanks to Mas Printo who was very helpful and a good photographer 😆 Will definitely come back!

It was a really good experience to visit sucha restaurant like Uppercut Steakhouse, since it is a high quality of steak restaurant.
It was perfect quality of steak, well cooked, juicy, and tasteful.
The staff was also helpful and very kind to customer. They were also explain about the meat. I was served by Printo, whom very helpful during my dinner at Uppercut Steakhouse. The other staffs were also agile.

Really great experience. Tested 2 appetizers: Crab Cakes & Carpaccio and 2 steaks: 200-days grain fed & wagyu mb7 and likes both.
Next time will try their dry-ages choices

Just left the restaurant ten minutes ago and had to leave review right away. I was blown away by the great service. Our waited, Printo, was very great. I came with friends and it was our first time there. Printo offered the best service and made sure we had the best experience.
Not only the service was great, the food was exceptional. Hands down this is the best steakhouse in Surabaya. I have had steaks in many places in Surabaya, but so far nothing beats this place. Will definitely visit more often and try their other steaks 👍

It’s a really wonderful restaurant, newly open with classic and tasteful interior decorations. Today is my girl friend birthday , the restaurant also prepare a birthday surprises for us. It’s really amazing experience and the food and wine are wonderful in here. The service is also very good. Strongly recommend this nice restaurant. Thanks for your surprise for us . If you go to Surabaya, please come here , you will have good experience on here.

The food was a m a z i n g. The service was crazily great, this one waiter Printo was super great. He answered all of my questions about the food and it’s cooking process. This one guy came up to us and performed a magic trick that blew our minds. Overall this dining experience is by far the greatest dining experience i ever had. Definitely would come back here if i have the money 💀.

Booked a table for my parents to have dinner at uppercut to celebrate their anniversary and the night was flawless they said. Excellent service and attention to details from mbak Erna. Complement to the chef as well from my parents!! Uppercut met the expectations of 5 stars restaurant! Would definitely recommend

This restaurant is great!! . The ambiance is very welcoming and comfortable. Amazing Cocktails (Alchl), food and service. It can be expensive but worth it! Staff are extremely nice and friendly, they also make great recommendations.
