We had been here before, some years ago. Quality has deteriorated greatly. We had one starter (dumplings) and spare ribs as a main course. Starter was decent but very small. Spare ribs only fat and bone. Initially, not much was done about our complaint. When we asked for the bill and gave our comments again, 20% was deducted from the dish in question. Just next to us, one glass broke, the glass flew over our table, no apology and we had to ask if they wanted to clean it up.
Unfortunately not for us anymore, years ago this restaurant was much better.

Having spent the day with our very knowledgeable driver seeing all there is to see around Ubud, our driver Gusti, recommended this place. My girlfriend and I had a wonderful Valentines meal and were thoroughly spoilt by all the staff. They all looked looked after us with lots of advice and smiles. Lovi in particular was wonderful taking the time to get to know us and recommend dessert - the lime pie is very special. For Mai course I had the pork and my girlfriend had the chicken In tomato sambal. Both excellent but I think the chicken was probably best! If you get the chance you should go to this spacious and classy while still maintaining a sort of family run friendly vibe. Enjoy!

last month when i revisited ubud,i came here for dinner.ordered nasi campur and latte.nasi campur is a common dish in indonesia,you can find it at any restaurants in Bali.but casa luna nasi campur worth leaving a positive comment here.cuz all dishes are tasty. as we know,nasi campur means rice mixed with assortments of side dishes, you can have lots of food on one plate.my experience at other restaurants is that not all dishes are same quality. but, at casa luna, every dishes on the plate are delicious. there are five main dishes on the plate,first, sate lilit is great,its meat tender,unlike other place,their sate lilit is chewy or a bit hard.i think it is fresh,second, pepes is nice,i swallowed it in one gulp,third,corn fritter well fried, fourth,chicken curry not that spicy,and chicken meat is tender,fifth,i want to highlight its coconut beans,it is long beans,but the cook cut it short,and make it easier to eat,it is tastier too. impressed! about the portion,it is just right, when you finished all dishes, your rice finished too. unlike other nasi campur, your dishes already finished,still many rice on the plate,or vice versa. besides nasi campur,i think food at casa luna still many worth a try, will be back next time for sure.

Food was perfect! Nothing to say. We were also seduced by the place and the atmosphere. However, they are some rooms for improvement:
First, they invited & accepted us without telling that half of the Indonesian meals written on their menu were not available.
Secondly, we waited too long for four plates (approx . 1h30) without any excuses.
Third, when the plates arrived at the tables we asked for additional water and two glasses of wine (because we waited for so long our dishes) and one of the waitresses told us that she couldn’t give us WATER because the bar was close, even though they just served us the plates. We asked another waitresses and she told us the same. We had to insist to just hydrate ourselves and start dinner…

Two stars because the place is beautiful and the staf is friendly if not they would have one.
The prices are high and forexample the frozen cappuccino is sludge of icecreme, coffee and sugar that possibly could be served at childrens birthday party at Mac Donald's if not at all.
Chose a better place there are many to chose among.

Stopped in by chance after a very hot and sweaty ridge hike nearby. This restaurant has excellent food, a great daiquiri and exceptional service. I had the pumpkin avocado salad and it was healthy and flavorful and the ingredients fresh as can be. Bravo Casa Luna.

I'll start by saying that we arrived very late, with the place almost closing, but despite having warned us that we would have to hurry, they accepted us cordially. We only had one dish each, but everything was very good, especially my low-temperature cooked duck, one of the best dishes I ate in Ubud. We would have liked to return, but a small health problem ruined our last few days and so there wasn't time. However I recommend it

We ordered from the Takeaway menu due to having been out all day and just wanting to chill back at the Villa. We used WhatsApp to message the restaurant, after looking at the menu online, we requested a Balinese Chicken Curry, Chicken Satay, and Luna Spring Rolls.
We were informed by the restaurant that there would be a delay due to traffic which was fine, the order arrived within 30 minutes, and was still warm to eat - the portion sizes are good and the price was roughly Rp. 180k.

We absolutely loved our meal at Casa Luna, so much so that we went back the next night! The ladies are so friendly and welcoming, and the downstairs restaurant area is ideal for a romantic meal. My wife is vegan and really enjoyed the Laksa on the first night, then they advised that they could make one of the chicken meals vegan-friendly for the second night. They also have a great selection of baked goods for dessert - try the banana bread, lime pie or chocolate brownie if you have a sweet tooth!

We are two couples and all four were happy with our meals. The fish curry was one of the best I’ve had. My husband felt like a break from Balinese food and had the roast and loved it. Great ambience and felt very spacious.

We stayed in Ubud for 4 days and ate here 3 times, that’s how much we liked it! The pork belly nasi goreng, Babi kecap, satay, and soy glazed chicken were all delicious. They give you free bread from their bakery too, which is a nice touch. Service with a smile, although sometimes a little bit of a wait - not the fault of the staff, I think they were just busy waiting on lots of tables at once. Would recommend to anyone visiting Ubud!

We we recommended to go to this place by our hotel driver. It was not easy to book for 2 people but I contacted them via their website and Yudi kindly made all the arrangements. We went early evening but it is busy all day and the food was good, as we wanted a slight change from Indonesian food, although they do that to. Excellent service and nice environment for group, couples or family at a decent price.

Ordered lobster as a starter and Bali style paella for main and the seafood was delicious. They do very good sourdough too.
Vanilla slice for dessert was large portion size and okay. Coffee very good.

Casa Luna had been recommended to me (twice!) and so this trip I took myself there for a special lunch. Well, it did not disappoint.
I'm still dreaming about the prawn & pork dumplings in fragrant Indonesian broth! Everything else was also delicious; spicy fish with greens & a tomato sambal, a dense chocolatey dessert, cold beer.
Friendly professional staff, lovely ambience, thoughtful decor, and... seating away from the busy main road, so it was cool & relaxing.
I will return!
