Nestled within the Blanco Renaissance Museum complex, BLANCO par Mandif presents a different approach to Indonesian Heritage Cuisine. We offer Degustation Menu only, ranging from Courses 7 - 9 Courses. Reflecting Indonesian archipelago, our menu leans more towards seafood, with few meat options.Vegetarian and Special Dietary restriction available upon prior request (1 x 24 hours). Lunch available everyday at 12.00-14.00. Dinner, at 18.00-21.00 (for degustation menu) and until 22:30 (for a la carte menu) with smart-casual dress code (no singlet, flip flop and beach wears) attire applies. My wife and I were walking Ubud and tried to visit the Blanco Museum. Fortunately for us the museum was closed and we happened upon the Blanco par Mandif restaurant located next to the museum entrance. After looking at the menu and speaking with the manager we made reservations for the next evening due to availability and dress code. The restaurant takes very limited reservations nightly due to the extreme preparation required for the seven course extravaganza.
Suffice to say that this place is wonderful, start to finish! They greet you at the door, welcome you in by name, sit you in a comfortable location in the bar area and treat you to some terrific welcome beverages and snacks.
I opted for the seven course beef and seafood menu with the drink paring while my wife received the gluten free version without the drink paring.
Suffice to say that these seven courses were exquisitely prepared, presented and delivered. We have been to a few Michelin 1 and 2 star restaurants that don't come close to the detail provided at Blanco.
Downside, if this is even to be considered, is that you need to be willing to sit for 3-4 hours while they deliver this gastronomic festival.
If you are a looking for a unique dinner experience, we highly recommend visiting Blanco par Mandif on your next visit to Ubud in Bali.

After having come up to Ubud at the last minute, we were lucky enough to secure a table at this restaurant that seats less than 30 diners an evening. We arrived at 8 and left at almost midnight. Upon arrival, we were led into a waiting area with soft music, a quiet and private bar, and a welcome cocktail and three separate amuse-bouche courses before being seated in the meticulously designed white-tablecloth dining area. Although the tasting menu only serves seven courses, the portions are decent sizes and we were definitely full when we left. The staff was super knowledgeable about each course, as well as the wines and cocktails that accompanied the pairing menu - down to what kind of vats the wine was aged in. We could not find any faults with the food, which was served with perfect timing and the perfect amount of attentiveness. I don't get why this restaurant does not have at least a single Michelin star! Highly recommend a trip up here, even from further south, just for the experience.

It was a wonderful evening with my besties. I already in love with the place when we entered the bar area, it was beautifully decorated in Ubud old glamour style complimented with a very friendly welcome from the staff. We were served a welcome cocktail with a set of tasty snacks at the bar before we entered the dining area, they all come in a beautiful presentation. Once we seated in the dining area, we were welcomed with our first Par Mandif experience: "handwashing ritual" where the staff poured rose-infused water for us to wash our hand into a basin, it was fabulous!
The delicious set dinner not only comes with a really beautiful presentation but also with a personal explanation from the staff. I was really impressed with how they managed to magically create a very authentic Indonesian dish with a contemporary approach. It is not easy to pick one favorite dish among the set, but the Chawanmushi and the crab salad was really memorable. As if the set was not enough to make our mouths happy, they wowed us with the dessert set, and again, we were really impressed with how authentic they are despite the creative contemporary presentation they make. We can really understand how each dish was made with extra attention to detail, such a wonderful experience!

It was a warm night, we were welcomed with friendly staff and quite unique audio setup complete with beautiful turntable and musical fidelity amplifiers
I have to say that this is one of the best fine dining i’ve ever experienced. We get to taste a variety of indonesian sweets and treats before we indulge into multi course of yummy and pretty food. They’ve done great job by elevating the indonesian taste into a fine dining dishes. While we enjoyed the cozy ambience where we waited at Ruang Tamu Bar to be seated, the dinner was exquisite. The service is great, it comes with mandatory description about the dishes clearly , polite and fun.
We dont get to Ubud much, but it was a great night.

The experience at Blanco Par Mandif will ignite all your senses, its the best way possible to spoil your taste buds, the setting is beautiful, and the service was super. We had chef degustation 7-course menu and two pots of tea from their extensive list of the tea menu and guaranteed you will not disappointed with any of it.
Every dish was like being on a master chef, creative, unique, brilliantly presented and explained. My favorite one was their aged smoked duck, where the lengthy process really complements the taste. Thank you Par Mandif for the wonderful evening!!

Local Ingredients Fine dinning.
Had not been here in a long time but now more seats than before. We liked the kitchen seats better but no longer. However a young chef comes to your table for every course to explain your meal. Very well done every course with local ingredients and seemed the focus on flavor was there not just presentation. Ubud having the top 4 Restaurants on the Island and possibly Asia this is one of them.

We booked the dinner on 31st night for the 4 of us. The entire experience, right from arrival and pre-dinner drinks till the end when we were too full to get into our hotel car, was absolutely fantastic. The service levels were in line with some of the best restaurants in the world. The restaurant manager, Ghibran had whatssapped me the day before to understand our dietary restrictions and preferences. We went for the pescetarian 7course menu, and each of the dishes had flavours bursting in the mouth. Even the vegetarian menu was extremely tasty. They use a lot of local ingredients and yet their fusion is spectacular. I would highly recommend this place for dinner.

Before i came here, I have heard the hustle about this restaurant from the stories of my friends. Expectation was set on my mind, and I would say it was not a low one. Yet, that night, everything was beyond what I have ever imagined.
The ambience and vibe was so classy and romantic. A perfect place to have a dinner with your special one. The service was outstanding; with the warm greetings, and their keen attention to details. The food lived up to the expectation. You will find a perfect harmony in a plate, through its layers of flavours and textures. They serve Indonesian food in a quite different way. A great one, obviously, cause you’ve never expected our traditional dishes could be presented in such a classy and in so modern way. They also use local ingredients which was like a cherry on top for me.

We have raved about it countless times since our first visit in 2019 and were now so looking forward to visiting again. Unfortunately, we were bitterly disappointed.
We first shared the following feedback with the restaurant in private. But the lack of feedback and the arrogance associated with it prompted us to voice our criticism publicly. Professionally and humanly, this is just so disappointing.
The whole set-up in the restaurant was not as classy as last time. The tablecloth, for example, was greasy and had food leftovers from the previous meal on it.
The waiting time between courses is far too long. The whole evening consisted mainly of waiting: waiting for the start, waiting for the course, waiting forever each time in front of an empty plate, waiting for bread.
The bread that was refilled was old. Telling us it was cut from the same loaf as before is not true.
The meat was not cooked properly. Not in the European way, not in the Balinese way.
The vegi menu is not a vegetable menu composition, but just a collection of side dishes.
The cocktails: three tequila shots for a total of 6 courses. A poor variety.
There is a lot of repetition in general: tequila, mushrooms, chives, soup....
The performance was - we're sorry to say - poor in all respects.
To tell us that it was due to the pandemic and the lack of staff, but then to charge the full price with a completely reduced performance is really not appropriate.
We had been looking forward to this evening for weeks, telling everyone about our last visit to Blanco for years, and went to bed last night deeply saddened. To make matters worse, I had diarrhoea all night. The first time in 8 days in Bali, certainly due to the visit to Blanco.
I had asked for a partial refund, over $400 for the whole thing is just insane. Last time we paid this much and it was completely justified. We were happy to pay that, but not this time.
If you want fine dining in Ubud in 2023, the Mozaic is a thousand times better.

This was my first fine dining experience and I have to say it’s very amazing.
At first as we entered the bar the ambience was very amazing.
The snack and the welcome drink were absolutely perfect.
For the food, from the first to the end, we were served only great quality of Indonesian food.
Not forget to mention the friendly service staff, they’re always ready to serve you, it made me feel comfy to enjoy the dinner.
Don’t ever miss to visit this restaurant when you’re in Ubud!

We arrived at about 8.20pm and we were welcomed in a proper way, the place is nice and properly furnished.
We decided to go for a 2 pairing menu and 2 only food menu with a pommerol bottle of wine.
All went smooth, service was almost as good as starred restaurant and the food was really good. Let say till dessert all was up to a 5 star rating.
Unfortunately all become weird during dessert. We were served for the first time in a wrong order and after that no one show up anymore... after more than 20 min, with the dirty plates still im front of us, we went look for waiters and they were all chit chatting in the entrance.
We not get the mini patisserie (that was stated on the menu) nor an explanation of why it was missing.
We asked for a coffee, and they said the machine was brocken, and they not proposed for a dessert wine or digestive. Just left alone with the 11 mil bill on the table, we even needed to call them to swipe the card, and then rashly escorted outside. And is was about 11pm!
It is a pity that a restaurant that put all this effort to be at high international standard, drop so dramatically to average just because, I guess, the people in charge left.
Keep working on the service guys!

Greeted by a romantic atmosfer, we have to wait at the bar before we enter the dining room. They serve beautiful appetiser. Taste good. Unfortunatelly the room little bit dark for me. But they serve beautiful finger food. All of The food blows my mind away. Definately authentic indonesian cuisine taste beautifully plated. Very clean, very authentic. The staff really lovely, they explain every story behind the food. They turn down the ac without me asking for it. And they serve the food that suit my pregnant condition. They spoiled us with the best food. And the dessert was so cute, they called it miniatur artist where they served some miniatur traditional indonesian cakes. Pair it to blanco par mandif special warm tea. Everything was perfect to me. Lovely fine dining experience.

From the first we entered the bar we know that this would be our special night. The ambience and the interior it's just perfect to start the dinner with best friends. The welcome drink and snacks they served in beautiful presentations and delicious. We started the dinner with "kobokan" ritual it's Indonesian tradition to washing hand before eating, but they presented in very beautiful way. Surprisingly even the food presented in very Western and fine dining way but I still could tasted the original Indonesian food that I'm familiar with. From the first meals until the last we got the good surprised from the taste and the presentation. It's just perfect for my special night with my best friends. Definitely will come back with my loved one.

Looking for the best fine dining in Bali? BLANCO par Mandif is definitely where you must go.
From the first we entered the bar we know that this would be our special night. The ambience and the interior were just perfect to start the dinner with best friends. Speaking about the welcome drink and snacks, they served in beautiful presentations and delicious. Hand washing ceremony remarked our fine dining experience. Sweet sour wrapped in delicate skin - Rujak was standout. Then, the chef's complimentary, Amuse Bouche - soupy smooth and rich followed by main courses and dessert, not only the dishes tasted so good, the plating was also pretty.

Our second visit here, and still amazed by the creativity of the Chef.
Housed within the Blanco Renaissance Museum complex, this restaurant presents a modern take on Indonesian cuisine, as well as drawing inspiration from the cultures of its international clientele.
The wine and cocktail pairing is marvelous, fits perfectly to each dish. If we compared to Michelan-stars reaturants that we visited in Europe, the dinner here is absolutely on the level of Michelan star (unfortunately also the price 🤨 but it was worth it).
Some improvement of restaurant‘s interior and table decoration is still needed though (but they know this and will do something about it next year).
Service was as excellent as last time we visited, super friendly, attentive and creative. „Getug 5.0“ was my highlight - I think I got the alpha version 5 years ago 😀
If you‘re looking for extra ordinary creative and superb quality of fine dining, here is the place!
