Over many years Wayan's Bakery has continued to maintain its high standard in service and food. So much more than a bakery but the cakes are superb too. A visit to Bali can't be considered complete without a meal at Wayan's.

We ordered the All American Breakfast for Rp54.000 and were very disappointed to say the least. To call this "All American" was an insult to the country. Do yourself a favor and skip this place.

I first discovered this place after a friend recommended me in September 2015. On a recent trip to Ubud in February 2018 I came back. From the front of the cafe you can’t see how beautiful it is but once you enter and go towards...More

Nasi campur here is good although I have never tried it at other places. It comes with small side of Yellow chicken currey, which is tasty ( even for Thai like me who is used to spicy). The decoration and garden inside the restaurant is...More

Our family love this restaurant! It is unassuming from the street but once you walk inside, you will be surprised at how big it is. If you walk down the back, you come to a beautiful garden with private seating areas, surrounded by fish ponds...More

We go back at least twice every time we are in Bali. Everything we eat there is phenomenal. Their desserts tend to be great too but lately they have been catering more to Western-style ones, in my opinion. Their black rice pudding is to die...More

Hi Vextar. We went in the evening and it was stunning. Try to book one of the low serving tables ( no chairs) as this made the experience even better. Enjoy your holiday 👍🏻

Cafe Wayan and Bakery Established in 1986 We are happy to have had so many nice guests come to enjoy our food for over 31 years. Cafe Wayan started as a small warung (a local food stall) where Ibu Wayan sold black rice pudding and coffee to the rice farmers on what has now become Monkey Forest Road. Tourist began walking down "the path" to the Monkey Forest and stopped by for a coffee, snacks or to buy peanuts for the monkeys. Ibu Wayans always love to cook as a child and soon the menu began to expand. Return friends to Ubud began helping with recipes of western dishes as long term visitors and residents sometimes miss their own food too. Ibu Wayan began traveling abroad and learned more western cooking with Chef Joe Schultz of India Joes's restaurant in Santa Cruz, California and also learned the art of Thai cuisine in Bangkok.
