KEPITU is taken from the Banjar next to the resort, The Restaurant is set in the eficentrum of the resort with 180 degrees view over the pool and jungle landscape creates and ambiance perfect for an iced cold beer and cocktails. Designed with Kayon shaped using iron wood, bamboo and Alang-Alang Grass roof creates a Truly Ubud atmosphere. The lunch menu is light and healthy, a mixture of sandwich and salads. In the evening the menus are mixed western, Asian and Signature Kepitu menu with Balinese Royal setting and with weekly Balinese Culture diner program for a truly Ubud Experience. Incorporate with the floating sky roof deck dining space with The Kumbakarna Statue setting, Kepitu is the favorite and romantic dining venue The Children below 15 years old, senior citizen/people who are having mobility issues, drone, durian are not permitted at our restaurant. Wonderful restaurant with beautiful setting

A meal at Kepitu restaurant is a special experience. We had many meals there during our stay at the Kayon Resort, but it’s close enough to town to be enjoyed by anyone whether or not you are staying at the resort. On each occasion that we ate there, whether it was breakfast, lunch or dinner, they provided 5-star service and made us feel like family at the same time. Every member of the Kepitu team was wonderful. On my husband’s birthday, without me even asking, they made a special birthday cake for my husband and sang to him. The view from the restaurant is serene and beautiful, and the atmosphere of the restaurant is very relaxing while being special at the same time. My favorite dishes were their Balinese specialties - from the nasi goreng, nasi campur to the crispy duck to the various curries and stays. Delicious! They offer various special dining nights - all great, and our favorites were the BBQ night and the cultural night, where women from the Kepitu village nearby performed traditional Balinese dances. You must visit Kepitu on your trip to Bali!

Exceptional Hospitality Everytime

We were fortunate to spend a week in the Kayon resort. Like many other guests, we had the intention of eating in Ubud more often but kept coming back here night after night. Resort restaurants can be bland and generic. This is not the case with the Kepitu. Firstly, the restaurant itself is emaculate. Tastefully decorated with clean crsip white table clothes and beautifully lit. The service is exceptional. A lovely warm yet professional atmosphere from each and every member of staff. You get a fine dining experience without it being stuffy. The touches, such as an amuse bouch at the start and a sorbet between courses, are done very well. The food is a good balance of Asian and western inspired dishes to suit foreign tastes. We mostly ate from the Asian inspired section of the menu. The dishes were the right balance of tradition and elegance, beautifully flavoured food everytime. The live music and dancing nights they put on on certain nights of the week were the icing on the cake. We'd love to come back.

Honeymoon MADE!

The service was incredible! They were extremely accommodating as I'm lactose intolerant and my husband can't eat fish. They even made us special bread! There wasn't a single second that I didn't feel like royalty. The food was DELICIOUS. I'm salivating just thinking about their fresh baked breads and what I can only explain as a duck steak. #drooling The attention to detail in playing was pristine and the restaurant was sparkling clean and had a heavenly view. The culture night was my favorite day because I was able to have an authentic Balinese meal and watch traditional dance. All in all, I would 100% recommend and am already planning my next stay at the beautiful kanyon resort so I can eat the mouthwatering kepitu meals again.

During our ten day stay at the Kayon Resort, we had planned on going in to Ubud to have lunch and dinner on many of the days. But after having dinner at the Kepitu Restaurant on our first night at the resort, we ended up having all but one of our meals there. The food was amazing – generous portions, beautiful presentation, fantastic flavours. The location of the restaurant is superb – overlooking the infinity pool and the forest beyond. The breakfast was included in the price of our accommodation and oh my goodness what a feast this was. Starting with the beautiful fresh fruit and juices, followed by the overflowing basket of bread and pastries, through to the delicious Nasi Goring and all other types of breakfast fares, breakfast was a wonderful start to the day. Afternoon tea was also part of our package, and despite the fact that neither my wife or I drink tea or coffee, we still came along to enjoy the three tiers of sweet and savoury treats. We were lucky enough to be able to dine at the restaurant on their Satay Night and their Cultural Night, both of which were amazing. The traditional food and the dancing entertainment during the Cultural Night were superb. The wide variety of different satays and sauces at the Satay Night were matched only by the attentive service of the staff, not to mention the amazing entertainer who sang and played such a wide variety of songs requested by the patrons. My wife has a mango allergy and the staff were always aware of this and made sure she was not exposed to any mango. All the staff went out of their way to look after all the guests. After less than a day they all seemed to know our likes and dislikes and went out of their way to give us amazing service, always with a big smile. Special mention must be made of Dewa and Doni who made us feel like special guests every time they served us and they shared so much of their knowledge and culture with us at the same time as wanting to learn as much as they could about us. The staff are the icing on the cake – their service was impeccable, from pushing your chair in for you to explaining the ingredients in each dish. The only criticism we have is that the beer was never cold enough.

A truly excellent restaurant

I would come to this restaurant purely for the amazing view overlooking the jungle but it is so much more than that. Kedek and his team do absolutely everything they can to provide world class five star service. The menu has an excellent variety and the presentation of the deliciously well cooked food is excellent with large servings and perfect temperatures. The times when I couldn’t eat everything I’d ordered Kedek came to see me personally to ensure I was happy with my meal. Thank you so much for an excellent dining experience

Excellent service, beautiful setting

Kepitu was a wonderful restaurant to dine at during our stay at the Kayon Resort. The restaurant is open to the surrounding sounds of the nearby rainforest and it all feels serene and peaceful. The staff immediately welcome you warmly every time they see you and they go above and beyond to make sure your experience is sublime! For example, when ordering, I wanted to pass on a salad course to avoid raw meals and the waiter insisted that the chef create an alternative...then out came stir-fried vegetables. We appreciated every gracious gesture offered by all the staff. The food was delicious and fresh - authentic balinese with a touch of euro-flair. We will remember this restaurant in our travels fondly.

Really enjoyed my stay at the kayon Ubud resort. The hospitality at the restaurant is the best I have come across so far, I highly recommend this hotel. Dewa from the Kepitu restaurant was very friendly and makes you feel at home. Not forgetting to mention the rest of the staff, truly amazing. We will definitely be returning. Simply one of the best restaurant in ubud

The food here is so delicious and the atmosphere is really nice. We came during our honeymoon and stayed in the same hotel (Kayon Resort). So we had the chance to experience breakfast, lunch and dinner! For breakfast they will give you a selection of fantastic food that is complete from apetizer to beverages. The portion is enough for us to skip lunch. For lunch and dinner the selection is really complete. Our favourite is the traditional balinese food (nasi ungu). It is so good that we had to eat this again on the next day. Last we also had a honeymoon candlelight dinner. The food and service are just amazing. Complete set of 5 different meals with such a romantic atmosphere. Thanks for making our honeymoon really memorable!

6 Days of Breakfast/Dinner

We stayed at the Kayon resort for 6 days, and enjoyed breakfast and dinner every night. The food is well prepared, well presented in tranquil surroundings. They have both indonesian and western cuisine. The staff is courteous, attentive and friendly. I have some food allergies and this was not a problem, as they prepared the food separate for me. There are special events a few times a week, with bbq and sataynight to mention a few. But a la carte menu is always available. We had mostly Indonesian dishes that was sublime. We highly recommend this restaurant!

Absolutely stunning, and good value for money.

The Kayon resort is absolutely stunning. From the view of the forest from the pool, to the wooden decor and carvings into the stone surrounding the property, or the waterfall the at the side of the property, the stay for us felt as premium as it gets. The food is so so tasty, and the portion sizes are amazing. I’ve been to other countries and Bali, especially the Kayon do not hold back with size. We had a dinner while they hosted a fire and Indonesian dance show, which was awesome. The breakfast is actually too much to eat, and I’m not a small guy. You can choose to upgrade for a really small amount of cash to have breakfast by the waterfall, highly recommend. We were hosted by a few different staff, and everyone is so friendly and super polite. Always a smile and welcoming attitude, and they couldn’t do enough for you. Special thanks to Sriyanti for making our stay really pleasant. We didn’t try the spa as it was quite expensive, but it looks really premium. Our room was amazing, bed was extremely comfortable, bathroom had amazing decor and you could bath looking out at the forest. The outdoor pool has a few sun beds, and the entire property doesn’t host a lot of people so if you’re wanting a couple nights like us for a relax away from the hustle and bustle, this is the place to go! For the price, this place way exceeded expectation.

Sensational Christmas Meal for Four.

We thought that we would like to go somewhere very special for Christmas Dinner with our 2 sons, 18 and 19. Wow - absolutely remarkable. Mira was our amazing waitress and did a marvelous job changing some of the set menu to suit the boys. Our meal consisted of an oyster for appetizer, potato and leek soup, octopus salad, thai beef salad, steak or duck for mains and chocolate mousse for dessert. Absolutely everything was delicious, served without a huge wait, displayed beautifully and in a lovely setting. Although it wasn't Jungle Kayon resort, it was in fact in a jungle/rice fields setting. There was live music for the night with song requests - excellent. We will surely be coming here again. Oh and the prices were very reasonable...

Amazing romantic dinner with live music.

What an amazing romantic dinner at the Kepitu Restaurant! The dining experience was nothing but perfect from beginning to end. Came here to celebrate our 11th anniversary and my partner's birthday. There was also live music playing during our dinner night which made the whole mood great. The best thing about the dinner was our server, Gungde, who was so patient and caring with our requests, even helped us take videos. His hospitality was attentive and cheerful, took his time to chat with us along the way. This was what made the dinner so memorable, definitely our favorite memory of our trip in Bali. This romantic dinner is really worth it for anyone looking for a special dining experience.

Wonderful Romantic Dinner to Remember

Arrived on Saturday at the resort. They serve BBQ night with Live music. We booked table facing the forest. Table set with candle light. Delicious BBQ Buffett definitely should try the pork skewers with sambal matah. Variety of desserts and fruits also provided. And to top it off we ordered a bottle of red wine to complete the dinner experience. Staff Yudi keep making sure we enjoy the food and keep pouring the wine. Acoustic live music just made the night perfect, after a bottle of wine we get the nerve to sing as well. Oh for cocktail lovers definitely should try green Kayon (awesome).

The Kepitu restaurant at the Kayon Resort is definitely worth recommending! Great foods at affordable price and very romantic vibe you can experience in the middle of jungle. More than anything though, I was ver much satisfied with their service and hospitality, especially Mang Ayu the server for our table. Thanks to Ms. Ayu, our night at the restaurant was much filled with joy and happiness which made our experience at the resort much more valuable. So thanks, Ayu! :)
