we tried the traditional suckling pig here and it was super tasty. I would love to go back here again. Probably my favourite meal whilst we were in bali. Amazing value for money, really lovely food, staff were friendly and grateful for the tip we...gave. Highly recommendMore

This place was amazing. The broth was good and the fried crispy pork was good, as was the fresh cooked pork. Keep in mind this place really sells one dish. Amazing lunch spot.

The babi guling set is reasonably priced. The skin is chewy type, meat are tender and vegetables fresh! Remember the young coconut too, they are really young and fresh!

Love love love! Since my first visit to Bali as an adult, this was my first experience trying babi guling. I have been back multiple times.

I'm from the South in the US where barbecue wars are common so I truly think that those with high standards for barbecue will be disappointed here even if just by their served portion size alone. I got the special with a mix of everything....The fried suckling pig was very good, the slow cooked was also very good with Balinese spices. It was served over rice with some sort of mixed veggies that were too spicy for me. It was a big enough portion size for me but not quite up to a normal American portion size of meat but the price is reasonable and I was full. I did not think much of the pork skin it was chewy and flavorless. All in all not a bad experience but if I came back to ubud not sure I'd go back. I thought the blood sausage was very good but 1) I'm American so I honestly probably don't have too high of standards for blood sausage it's not common in the states and 2) it was one teeny tiny piece. I liked the venue and someone was on the street to point me the right direction. It was fun to wander through the old buildings and temples to find this place.More

Had the special for 75k, you get 1 skin piece and some other ingredient as thin pork meat slices, rice, vegetable, blood sausage and sambal sauce. The skin is hard & super crisp and the thin underlying fat melts on your tongue. Didn't find it...special comparing to the Chinese suckling pig style.More

We have been to this restaurant several times over the last two decades. The atmosphere has dramatically changed. More cars causing traffic jams in Ubud. The food experience has not changed. Worthwhile taking the time to go to Ubud for this restaurant and if possible,...try the chilies that go with the food, it adds a different dimension to the flavour.More

The roast suckling pig is a must try in Bali. Obe #3 is the best atmosphere of the locations, in my opinion. The view is nicer than looking out at cars going by. So go there to try it!

The skin was perfectly crispy with the signature Ibu Oka flavour. The meat was juicy and really well cooked, and the soup was just a perfect condiment. Really really good food! The only reason I've dropped the rating is that they have chained live cockatoo...birds on display. This is an absolute travesty, and has no place in today's day and age. You can see how depressed the birds are, and shouldn't be chained on display just for Social Media posts. If you're someone that believes in the humane treatment of animals, I wouldn't recommend it, as you will leave very upset. I've been a loyal fan of Ibu Oka's (other branches) for some time now, and it left me very disheartened to see this.More

I miss the old Ibu Oka that I have visited more than 10 years ago; flavor is pretty much the same; portion has been much smaller than before and much less pork meat.

Not worth it . No ambience - food is anything but average. I hope that the other outlets don’t disappoint but this one can be given a miss

Cheap, quick food with an open air view of the beautiful jungle! Hidden away down a side street, away from all the tourist shops and motorbikes, feels like a slice of a real Ubud neighbourhood. Super friendly staff and delicious pork! Good for gluten free...if you get the meat on its own (dagang) with a side of plain rice but make sure you specify “NO SAUCE” on the meat, as the sauce contains soy sauce. They have bottles of chilli sauce and tomato sauce on the tables, both are gluten free, so you won’t be having a plain meal!More

Please avoid at all costs, the food is okay but they keep approx. 7 Australian cockatoos chained to a metal perch with no access to food, water, bedding or toys. These cockatoos are kept chained to their perch 24/7 and only fed corn twice a...day. This is NOT acceptable treatment of these beautiful animals. They are there as entertainment for tourists and nothing else. Please do not support by dining in!!! Try another, smaller Babi Guling and support small business if you can - there are plenty around that don’t mistreat animals.More

We returned to Warung Ibu Oka once more for the great babi guling lunch - the prices have not changed in years! I guess when you're on a good thing, you stick to it! The wait staff were super sweet and friendly! It's located in...an extremely central place just across from Ubud Palace. Arrive earlier in the day if you want to be guaranteed pork crackling with your babi guling.More
