TLDR; The food portions are filling and amazing. We were served by many staffs (everyone is great and friendly!) and Anggi was the one who helped us through the end. Great place to come back to and definitely worth it's price point. I highly recommend this if you're around Ubud.
• Food wise, it's great. Per person is essentially 20$ and compared to other touristy restaurants, this place is worth it's price. I personally had the pasta which I enjoyed.
• They have a variety of meals from Pizza, burgers, solo chickens, noodles, and much more. The drinks in bali are generally pricey but they have promos on some days that offer buy-one-take-one.
• They're along the main road so they're super accessible. Smoking and Non-smoking areas for people as well. The ambiance is really cozy and works as a bar at night.
Overall, I enjoyed this restaurant and would come back for their breakfasts in the future.

We loved this place so much that we came back three nights in a row—yes, we were total pigs and nearly ate our way through the entire menu! Every dish was top-notch, and the team went above and beyond to customize meals to our liking.
Highly recommend the Honey & Coriander Chicken, Barramundi Tacos, Spaghetti Bolognese, Fettuccine, and the Tuna Poke Bowl—absolute perfection!
The service was just as impressive as the food. The staff were warm, attentive, and always checking in with genuine smiles. A special shoutout to Ode and Anggi—these ladies are true hospitality superstars! Can’t wait to return!

This food spot was so great that we came twice during our short stay in Ubud. We loved every item we ordered and the service was fantastic! Arik was so kind to send us out with a free pastry for waiting a little bit of time (which was short to us compared to the waits there often is in the USA). Had lunch at the Simply Social Ubud, the ambience is welcoming and cosy, it has great vibe, plus is its on side walk, nearest to ubud palace, they have great vegan options too, the food is fresh and delicious,potion sizes were great one meal for one person is enough. . The food is served with a smile, our host was Murni she was very attentive and helped us through choosing best options. Its a five start from us.

Unfortunately an awful experience, we ordered 3 Chicken Tandoori Skewers, food took a while to come and then when it did come, every bit of chicken was raw. Absolutely unacceptable food hygiene and safety. We stopped eating and complained, the staff apologised and gave us the food for free.

This spot was spot on! Their customer service was so beautiful. I accidentally slurped my fettuccine too hard and got oil in my eye, two staff members willingly followed me into the bathroom and assisted me with care 🫶🏼 Our girl Anggi was so beautiful, she made me feel welcomed, made sure we were well fed and even got personal which made the experience very safe & steady! Her explanations to what we ordered was very well done 🙏🏼 Thank you so much Anggi & team, love you ❤️

We had a great experience here, I am gluten free and they offered me different options and adjusted dishes for me. We ended up coming back multiple times. The service was amazing and Arik was a wonderful host, very friendly and very helpful

Amazing place with interesting food options! Our host was Diah and she was very friendly and helped us with beer samples to decide which one to choose. Food was delicious and covers cuisines from multiple geographies. Would highly recommend this place as it will make your meal unforgettable.

This place is very inviting, with pretty decor. There are loads of options for food, including plenty of vegan options. We ate here 4 times on our trip because the food was so good. We were conscious of not getting Bali belly also so this place was very reliable to deliver tasty food without the fear of getting sick! Arik was our waitress and she was very pleasant as well as all the other waiting staff. Would definitely recommend!

We had booked 11 people a day in advance and we got a long table in a separate area, which looked like a sports bar. The service was friendly and fast by Indonesian standards. We first ordered drinks with 3 bowls of nachos jackfruit, very tasty. Then we had several main courses from padtai to spare ribs, enchiladas, shrimp, sushi and BBQ specials. Really everyone was very satisfied with his/her order and found it super tasty. Really great!

We came for dinner whilst staying in Ubud! We were made very welcome by Karisma. She was very attentive and made our visit extra special. The food was fantastic as were the cocktails. We are celebrating our homeymoon and Karisma very kindly helped us celebrate with a beautiful chocolate tiramisu. Thank you for making our visit to Simply Social just perfect.

Great menu that covers all desires.
We had the sushi which was excellent both salmon and Tuna rolls.
The pizza was fine but not completely Italian let’s just say.
The service was very good, we were served the wrong pizza, which they sorted out very quickly but they then offered us free desserts which were great.
Would defo visit again when back in Ubud. It’s a great place to watch people walk by. Front section is smoking back there a non smoking section at the back. Was pretty busy as well for a Saturday lunchtime, no need to book though.

I’ve been in Ubud 12 days and have eaten at Simply Social for either lunch or dinner 10/12 days. Not only are the staff friendly, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the kitchen accommodates you with any changes you may want to make. Dayu, one of the floor staff not only remembered us tonight at dinner, but all our changes for what we ordered, and that just makes you want to come back. The food is full of flavor and presentation is wow! A must visit when in Ubud.
