Even if you're on a backpacker budget myself and my friend shared some veggie Thali with 2 extra curry Thalis for 70 IDR. Beautiful, flavoursome food and very filling for only 35 IDR each. Totally worth a visit for yummy Indian food, fantastic service and a very eclectic, sparkly and brightly coloured restaurant. Must visit!!! P.s the owner's son is... More

Just discovered this cheerful little place this evening and liked it very much. I had the vegetarian thali which was delicious, honest-to-goodness Indian food. There was nothing about it that didn't seem authentic. I particularly liked the roasted eggplant dish, which is not a common sight on Indian menus. Friendly service and not expensive. As my hotel is nearby I... More

The homemade roti and chapati are amazing! And the mango pickle the best I have ever had! The vegetable curry was fresh but a little flat in flavour. The thali looked amazing and I will have that next time. The yellow lentils were rich and delicious. I really love the decor in this little Indian warung. It's a special little... More

Absolutely authentic Indian flavours. We had great samosas with the best green chutney I ever ate. The lady who runs the tiny restaurant is very nice human. We did not have enough local currency and she let us eat anyway.

They have a fire roasted eggplant dish that was the best Indian dish I have had in months of traveling. Garlic non was great. Free water refills. The staff was so helpful and sweet. Cute and clean. Coming back before I leave!

Being a fan of Indian food I was really happy to find Warung Little India in Ubud. The place is really well decorated with furniture and colors reminiscient of India, and the staff is really charming. The menu is quite extensive (startes, Thali, Curries, Biryani, Tandoori, Breads...) but the taste isn't exactly the one I know from usual Punjabi food.... More

Visited for lunch and landed up ordering room delivery for dinner too. Simple tasty north indian home style cooking. Served fresh and piping hot. Delivery to room was well packed in eco friendly style and served a variation from the afternoon meal. Only downside is uninformed service tax and high prices for a warung. But to satisfy the need for... More
