My family arranged the perfect dinner At CasCades to celebrate my 60th birthday. It was indeed a memorable and beautiful way to spend the evening. We had a table for 4 with a very nice view of the surroundings and white curtains framing should you want the ultimate privacy. Our table host for the evening Yann made the evening special with his style and confidence serving. The other wait-staff all worked well as a team. My wife and daughter had a Indonesian banquet for 2 while myself and another guest chose from a broad Indonesian and international menu. There were amuse bouche and palate cleanser between courses we could not fault a single aspect of the evening, accompanied by a pianist on a grand piano playing beautiful standards and modern pieces. The restaurant is not cheap. But that’s what quality is. Thank you for making it a memorable occasion.

Sunday is a great day for everything, I catching up the time for really good experience brunch with the wonderful jungle view in Ubud. I went from this restaurant on Sunday. Well ! It’s so warm welcoming from all of the colleagues in this restaurant, everyone smiling and helping you and this is a great time for enjoying your time for refreshing ✨
I do really love their concept, so epic the restaurant was iconic, really good atmosphere, so romantic and gorgeous, the foods yeah the food really!! oh I cant explain so so so exactly delicious they offered us from the grill I love their meats 🥩 so juicy and fresh, i got the salad it so yummy, I love the drinks as well wow refreshing. Highly recommend to you for getting exceptional brunch.
Thank you guys, everyone doing great thanks for helping us and deliver great service. Especially Mrs. KETUT (I am not sure correctly her name) she was always looking after us hopefully see you in the near future ☀️

We had an amazing Sunday at cascades!
The Sunday bbq brunch is delicious and the staff at the restaurant took really great care of our party.
Bali is struggling and this guys are still giving an amazing service while the price is ridiculously cheap.

Cascades organized a fantastic romantic dinner date for my husband and me. It’s a 6-course menu and we enjoyed our dinner from 6 until almost 8, and it was the best with the sunset and candles, and cozy atmosphere since the place for romantic setting is a bit away from the restaurant.
I checked the menu before booking at cascadesbali.com, and it was just perfect both for my Western taste, and for my Balinese husband preferences. I loved the carpaccio, and the grilled octopus was so tender but full of flavor, and barramundi is highly recommended.
We enjoyed the service as well, getting to know the waiters and they told us that on Wednesdays they have traditional Balinese dance at the restaurant, so check is before you booking, it would be a lovely and authentic experience.
I wanted to come back here with my friends for some pizza by the pool since this place is like a hidden gem and not so crowded unlike most of ubudian swimming pool clubs, and it’s a perfect place to make a dinner for my relatives when they come visit us in Bali because it’s really and experience to have

My larger party had a reservation and, at some point after making the reservation, the restaurant contacted me to say that there would be a set menu because we were a large party. I balked at this, and told them so, because I had selected that restaurant specifically for the diverse menu selections. The restaurant presented a reasonable compromise ~ allowing us to order from the regular menu as long as we contacted them to provide each diner's choices a couple of days prior to the reservation. We were happy to oblige and ended up having a wonderful evening.. The outdoor setting was lovely, the food was delicious and the service was exceptional. Highly recommended for a memorable dining experience in Ubud.

CasCades restaurant is blessed with an amazing jungle view. Near the restaurant they have an organic Green House where they produces there own vegetables and many herbs. I don't have to tell you that this reflects in the taste..very flavorful. Nice wines and professional service.

Food was great, location stunning and service excellent. It was the perfect restaurant for our special occasion. We had grilled octopus for entree; I then chose the barramundi and my wife chose the red snapper (Ikan panggang). Both were delicious but the snapper won with its delicate, spicy Indonesian sambal. We both could not resist the chocolate fondant for dessert: this was a chocolate mud cake with a home-made vanilla ice cream. Fantastic! This dessert is popular in the best restaurants of Ubud, but the one in Cascades beats them all. Oh, also the Viceroy Island Tea has a real kick to it so beware if you choose that drink. It’s basically a strong Long Island Tea with the addition of a shot of whisky.
I highly recommend Cascades fir special occasions.

It was our third or fourth meal at Cascades, the first one since the end of restrictions due to the pandemic. We were 5 for Lunch.
What a disappointment, while the service is alsways good, the food is mediocre - at - best.
I ordered a "Ceviche" and Ceviche it was not. Some cubes of raw fish, vaguely marinated in a brownish concoction. I have been to Peru more than a dozen time over the last 40 years.. so I have tasted many variations of Ceviche. As a main dish I had Barramundi, which awas slightly overcooked and very bland.
My mom ordered a Pizza with beef cheek, which was also overcooked and some parts were almost burnt.
Other dishes were "OK" but really nothing to write home about, especially for the price, which is 2 or 3 times higher than what one pays in other restaurants in Ubud where the food is of much better quality.

We were remembered and welcomed back as returning diners, with delicious tamarind and orange juice. We ordered our favourite lunch dishes from the a la carte menu which didn’t disappoint - a main of succulent butterflied prawns to share with a green papaya and mango salad with pomelo. I had an entree of ceviche which was fresh, crisp and tasty. My partner had Soto Ayam chicken soup, that was presented and served in a most Interesting manner using a tea pot. We’ll be back again!

I am from Argentina and I was looking for a place in Bali to celebrate my honeymoon and my birthday. We chose the 5 "Course Romantic Candlelight Dinner" We were welcomed with a special and private table, with a lovely decoration and all the staff made us feel very comfortable all night long. The dinner with a variety of food options was amazing! I really recommend it as an unforgettable culinary experience!

The restaurant's location is perched on a hillside within Viceroy Hotel, with gorgeous views of greenery. We made a 5:30pm dinner reservation time (which is MUCH earlier than my usual dining time) to enjoy the view in daylight before the sun went down. We had a cocktail to start, then an entree, main and dessert each. The service was exemplary. We were not guests of Viceroy Hotel and only came to visit the restaurant but were welcomed and treated very well by the staff. We arrived on our scooter and we were met at the hotel entrance by a friendly staff member who guided us where to park. He then escorted us to the restaurant where were seated and served on by Shanti who was attentive and very lovely. Although some reviews highlighted the restaurant’s higher price point, we were undeterred. We came to CasCades seeking a memorable dining experience rather than a budget-friendly option, and it truly met our expectations. We can't wait to dine here again!

Everything was excellent! Food, wine, service, ambiance. Everything we had was delicious. It was so delicious, in fact, that I felt like I had to finish everything despite the fact I was already full, lol.
The staff was also excellent! We went there for Christmas Eve dinner, and the table next to us very strong smelling fish. The staff very kindly and understandingly accommodated our request to move to another table.
Definitely recommended! If I have to nitpick and give critique, tho, it was that they decide to play this odd saxophone-percussion-EDM jungle like music later into the night. The restaurant was full of families enjoying Christmas Eve dinner, and I felt it would’ve been more appropriate to play something more Christmas-y. They did, however, had a chorus singing Christmas carols earlier in the night. Which, actually, only whet my appetite for more Christmas carols.
All in all though, an amazing experience.

Absolutely amazing food, outlook, ambience and staff! We had a day trip to Ubud and decided to book Cascades for lunch due to the amazing outlook that the restaurant had and the broad menu. We were travelling with 3 kids as well and so upon arrival were concerned that the resort was too exclusive for us to take the kids into but it was not - the staff were so great! I cannot rave enough about the food - everything was exceptionally cooked - breads, salads, fish, beef and desserts. Definitely book here for a special lunch or dinner as it will not disappoint!

Cascades is definitely one of the top restaurants in Ubud and Bali in general. The stunning views make your dinner even more enjoyable. The staff is very professional and knowledgeable. Special thanks to Nuryasa for a warm welcome. Unfortunately, I can't remember the names of the other 2 waiters (a nice woman and a tall man) and the Chefs who did their best to secure a gluten free dinner for me. All the dishes we tried were very delicious. I'd especially recommend the Snapper and the Seaweed salad. My husband also enjoyed their fluffy Gnocchi. We'll definitely be back when we are in Ubud again.

The food was really good everything was tasty, the service was nice and friendly and the atmosphere was cozy and relaxing very enjoyable for my family and i.
The view was beautiful looking over to the forest.
The covid protocol was good every staff wore a mask and had sanitizers ready.
