How is CasCades Restaurant rated?

This was the best meal we had in Ubud. We had the rice paper rolls and steak tartare for starter and the braised beef and lamb for main. The braised beef and lamb were the best we have ever tasted considering we come from Ireland...and the beef and lamb there is great too. The service was exceptional and the staff were very friendly. Honestly, this meal was 10/10 and we would definitely recommend.More

Not worth the prices

Above average dishes with above average ingredients for premium prices. The view is good but many restaurants in Ubud have same. Service is up to expectations considering that the included tip on the bill is 20%More

Jungle delicacy!

Apart from the fantastic jungle setting and the exquisite food this restaurant is amazing because of the ultra attentive and kind staff. Poor experience

Dinner by the candlelight was disappointing. The menu was too expensive, the food wasn’t great at all. Superb view, excellent food and service

Lovely dining experience

Amazing venue, and slightly creative menu with delicious food. I had the Moroccan Lamb Shank which was tender and the sauce was excellent. Sod eof couscous and roasted veggies both good. Added entertainment of traditional Balinese dancing in during the course of dinner service. VeryMore

An amazing night to celebrate my honeymoon and birthday! It was a unique experience in Bali.

Fabulous for a special occasion

We had a fabulous time at Cascades celebrating my Dad’s 80th Birthday. There were 10 of us in the group, with two having special dietary requirements. The set menu was adapted to cater for everyone. Absolutely amazing food, outlook, ambience and staff! We had a day trip to Ubud and decided to book Cascades for lunch due to the amazing outlook that the restaurant had and the broad menu. We were travelling with 3 kids as well and so upon...arrival were concerned that the resort was too exclusive for us to take the kids into but it was not - the staff were so great! I cannot rave enough about the food - everything was exceptionally cooked - breads, salads, fish, beef and desserts. Definitely book here for a special lunch or dinner as it will not disappoint!More

Can anyone tell me how the price of the meal and wine compares with the Bridges Restaurant. In March 2018 we dined at the Bridges for lunch and pared wines and purchased a bottle of white wine had 2 a course lunch and paid around $275 AUD. My husband thinks CasCades will be much more expensive because it’s located at the Viceroy and therefore reluctant to go to lunch there. Looking to book for lunch for our anniversary on our next Bali holiday at the end of August. Thanks in advance C.
