We ate at CasCades both for breakfast and dinner during our recent stay. Breakfast was always a pleasure with fantastic views across and along the valley although this view is lost after sunset. There is wide selection of traditional and local breakfast dishes, always beautifully presented. A great way to start the day. Our dinners however were mixed varying from... More

While staying at the Viceroy we ate at CasCasdes several times and were amazed in every instance. The meals themselves were expertly prepared and tasted incredible- and the service was attentive, polite and never intrusive. They offer a careful selection of Balinese and international cuisine and after trying most of the menu I can honestly say that the whole experience... More

We stayed at the Viceroy and ate here multiple times during our trip. The service was on par with the best fine dining restaurants, while maintaining the Balinese warmth you would expect in Ubud. The food is spectacular and the menu offers some Indonesian specialties and international favorites.

This was the complete package: from impeccable yet warm service to excellent food, presentation, entertainment, view, atmosphere, etc. This kind of experience creates memories that stay with you for a long time. My wife and my daughter even ended-up on stage dancing with the traditional Balinese dancers. What a blast! It was by far the best meal we had in... More

We had a 4 course tasting menu. The flavors, artistry, and composition were magical. I sent a note to the chef "this reminds me of the French Laundry". Definitely worth a visit.

After having eaten at the other highly ranked TripAdvisor restaurants in Ubud we finally made it to CasCades. The venue is magnificent as it is high above a "valley" below. The food was elegant , presentation superb and the tast extraordinariy ! What more can I say. Other than we cancelled a reservation at another highly rated restaurant that we... More

The service was good, we were offered to look at the menu at the lobby the moment we arrived, the waiter took the initiative to open the curtain to shield us from the sun without being asked. There is nothing special about the food though, but it is a good place to sit around looking at the view. So is... More

We had read some great reviews about this restaurant, and therefore decided to eat here our last day in Ubud. We were highly disappointed. We had the Indonesian degustation menu (around 1000 ++ IDR) that was bland and quite boring to be honest. It wasn't tasty, and the dishes were very unbalanced both in flavor and size. The service was... More

Hubby & I had the pleasure to have lunch here on news years day. From the moment of arrival the service was 110%. We had a table on the edge which looks out across the valley & beyond & was so serene. Food is immaculately presented & taste beyond sublime. Quite reasonably price considering where you are. The restaurant is... More

We are staying at the hotel and New Years dinner with paired wines was part of our booking. The staff are amazing with a fun high energy vibe all night. The food was amazing to say the least. Good portion sizes for a multi course degustation , amazing visual on the plate. The daily menu and food offered is just... More
