Solid fish and chips with a brilliant, fresh and crisp batter that is not at all oily, some delicious chips that are thick cut and still fluffy on the inside, and an incredible dill remoulade to tie everything together.
I love the design and the ambience this restaurant creates, with the hug archways and massive overhead fans. The large lawn makes the place feel spacious, especially rare in a place like Bali where restaurants can feel cramped and overpacked.
The staff are friendly and amicable, conversing and being quite attentive. During busy times like events, the service is a bit slow (even just ordering a beer on tap), though I understand that the staff are doing their best during busy times.
Side note: the soaps and hand lotions they offer for use in their restrooms are some luxurious, beautifully smelling products. It's an incredible touch and attention to detail I never expected but thoroughly appreciate.

Service was amazing, food outstanding with a chilled atmosphere. We tried a few tapas and a pizza to share. Portion sizes were generous so we found we ordered too much but was not disappointed to try multiple dishes. The pizza is stone baked with a soft crust. We tried the mac and cheese bites, tiger prawns with avocado and our favourite the wagyu meatballs which were delicious! The drinks selction was vast, my husband even had a selection of miniature local brewed beers to try. We will definitely be visiting again before we leave.

Great outdoor hangout space with craft beers on tap. Very recommended for social activities and family events, because they have a nice playground for the kids.
The pizzas selection is very good, will be well enjoyed with a glass of their signature cocktails.

The place is spacious, with a large lawn area and decor is inviting
The chairs are really heavy and not that comfortable.
Plenty of friendly staff however it takes a while to get your drinks once you’ve ordered and they are way over priced.
The food is very ‘herby’ if you like that kind of taste and the meatballs are tender but very salty.
Been here 3 times, wont go again and they are charging Tax when they shouldn’t be as the government has made everyone exempt due to Corona.
Wont go again, kind of like ‘been there done that’.

Incredible! Always outstanding service and the meals are up there as some of the best we have ever eaten. The presentation of the food is stunning and the drinks are also amazing. We kept coming back, again and again. Bonus it has a playground for kids and lots of big space for kids to play and run.
It is a bit higher in price for Bali but you definitely get what you pay for and it was always incredible.
The staff are so attentive, always ready to take your order or help, checking if everything is good with the meal.
Highly recommend visiting shot gun social!

This place is really nice. They have big outdoor garden and kids playground tho.
Tasted of the food was not same as last time we visited. The portion of the salad was to small, cendol also taste weird but Pizza was good. Bit slow for the service in quite period.
Staff was nice need more friendly and more attentive. No one come and checking to the table.

This is a relatively new restaurant that has been constructed on the old Kalimantan site.
To say it is amazing does not do it justice. It has been designed on the Micro-Brewery theme but has managed to also incorporate the best of Bali. It is open and airy with a multitude of comfortable high tables, standard tables and large bench seating. Just guessing, but I would say to could comfortably accommodate 170+ patron without crowding.
While spacious, the ambiance is excellent. Subtle up and down lighting creates a rich inviting atmosphere.
There is an abundance of beautifully attired attentive staff who are friendly and professional. Our table server, Kadek, was absolutely perfect.
In keeping with the Micro-Brewery theme, there are 18 different beers on tap - a mixture of local and international brands. There is also a fine selection of cocktails on offer.
The food is simple but beautifully prepared and presented. The emphasis is on Tapas and Pizza but also includes many standard pub favourites.
If you are in Sanur, this venue should be number 1 on your must visit list.

Shotgun social -odd name and locals refer to it as "the gun"- is a grand colonial style bar eatery at the southern end of sanur. Sheltering under a vast tree there is a large open picnic area where kids can play with a a saoring colonial style bar area adjoining.They specialise in craft beer with a great food menu and decent wine list. Only downside to the gun is the overinflated prices for craft beers that can be purchased up the road for 1/2 the price..

Great beer selections, from locals to craft beers.
Airy space with rooms for kids to run around and there is a unique playground by the giant tree.
Nice ambience and decent price. Could be very crowded over the weekend.
Good pizza with the live oven by the corner
Been there twice back in December and recently it was not as good as before, most of the craft beers are not available and the playground seems worn out and lack of love. I.e. Ropes are nearly torn, etc.
It could be simply one of the best place to chill with some slight improvement.

We really enjoyed our night out at Shotgun Social. Cool relaxed vibe. Food was delicious. Cocktails made as they should be. It was great to eat out at a place where kids were so well catered for - kids meals, drinks and a great adventure playground. Recommend.

We had dinner and drinks here on a recent holiday to Sanur and it was the one of the best restaurant s on our holiday. Great food, wonderful cocktails and excellent service from our waiter Adi who also gave us some great bahasa Bali lessons so we can speak more bahasa Bali over Bahasi Indonesian. This is a cool venue and I can’t wait to return on our next visit to Sanur in October

i ordered the carbonara. the description is … with black pepper gunpowder cream. the advertisement of this dish is inviting but the actuality of it was close to disgusting. while the taste was good, the dish was completely black and has stained my lips tongue and teeth. it was a very unappealing meal and has ruined my night as i now have a stained mouth. please make it clear in your description that the dish is dyed black! to me and my family, the description of the sauce was a creamy sauce with crushed black pepper.
whilst the carbonara was bad, the rest of our food and drinks were nice. it’s a shame

Our Smiff N Wesson Carbonara will be coming with the charcoal option if the guests did not put any special requests. Shotgun Bali served Italian, western and Indonesian menu. The taste is really great with reasonable price. They also have good deal and promotion every Monday. It’s a really huge restaurant so maybe if you are interested to make a office gathering, big party or maybe garden party for wedding, you can choose this restaurant. And if you have a family and kids then this restaurant is a good choice in Sanur because they have playground for kids.
For the taste, I’m not doubt. Their food is really have a great taste. All the menu even the dessert. They are Specilist for all menu that their offer

My husband and I had the most excellent meal today and so did our dog Putri Cantik who will mention it in her blog. Especially amazing in addition to Caesar’s salad were the magical selection of beers and brownies and cheesecake. My goodness we’re coming back ASAP

We booked a table for 6 on the grass area (fake grass so no biting insects). Good attentive service. Food and cocktails were excellent. The Marlin carpaccio was superb and the Nasi Goreng with pork. Fun time in playground. Staff brought slice of cheesecake for our friends' anniversary. Would go again
