Gelato! I have no idea what the food is like in the restaurant, but this is THE place to go in Bali for ice-cream. Not only is it real Italian gelato but it is less expensive than other Italian-type ice-cream places around. Try the 'Almond di Lecce'. Tip: The smallest size (20,000 Rupiah, I think) is already huge.

Don't miss the best gelato in Bali, very reasonably priced too. Expect a long queue but worth it. The Italian food was also good.

This is some of the best gelato I have ever had. I cannot comment on the food, but hear it is great. Based ont he gelato alone, I assure this place is a must if you are in the Sanur area. The Sulawesi chocolate is incredibly rich and full in taste. The coconut gelato melts in your mouth. My daughter... More

An extensive menu of Italian favourites, a mouth watering selection gelato to complete your meal, and excellent service makes Ristorante Massimo a gem in a crowded field in Sanur. If like Italian food this pave is definitely worth a visit. Im was really impressed by the old fashioned values shown by the waiting staff in addressing my local lady guest... More

This restaurant stands out in quality, service & satisfaction! Although at the opposite end of Sanur to where we stayed,we came here 3 x times.Best pizza, pasta & icecream you could ask for & catered for our gluten free requirements as well! Even though this is off season, patronage by tourists & locals was steady - may have to book !.Highly recommend!

Massimo is actually one of the pioneer of Italian food in Sanur or probably Bali area, their foods are always top notch with very authentic taste. Go there at night to get better atmosphere and overall better experience.
