We went here a few months ago after visiting a beach. We were exhausted and starving. It was a lunch time. When we arrived, no body welcomed us, we had been waited for few minutes until the waitress came to greet us and then we...ordered meatballs and We didn't expect the taste would be that terrible. We thought it'd be as good as other meatballs restaurant a.k.a Bakso. Since the place is quite good and clean. And the price is a bit expensive for unworthy taste. WE REALLY DISAPPOINTED! We make sure it was our first and last time eating at this restaurant.More

It's quiet expensive and the taste is awful. I seriously regret to spend my money here. If you were Indonesian you would not like it. This restaurant is really not recommended.

Five of us went there and we ate a dozen portions! We have been there many times and always return every time we go to Nusa Dua. Many refreshing beverages options too.

We were 4 staying in Nusa Dua that day and it was the last day of our Bali tour. Our 2 sons (13 yrs and 10 yrs) and 2 of us were having huge craving for a complete meal. We were searching for some not...so boring food and fortunately found this little but amazing Gemstone..! Located close to Nusa Dua beside the highway/ main road, this is a small and clean open restaurant that is popular to both locals as well as Bali Visitors. We ordered so many things including BAKO (soup in medium sized bowl with beef or chicken meat balls), fried tofu, steamed rice, soft drinks, fish cake, fried chicken, leafy vegetables, etc. And, my Goodness.. EACH AND EVERY ITEM WAS SOOOOOO TASTY that exceeded our expectations..! We had 2 rounds of fried chicken that was organic and one of the bests in my life...! Kids loved them soooo much. They also served some sauces like home made super hot chili sauce, soya sauce, etc. so we could control the amount of spice according to our taste. End of the meal the owner/ manager of the shop treated us with freshly cut watermelon. All these foods combined we only paid less than 300,000 idr. As said earlier, food was amazing, in fact best, service was quick and great, location find, the place was clean and smart :-) price was unbelievly low, staff were great..!!! All together a complete FIVE STAR RATING from me and my kids. Highly recommended...!!! Happy Traveling.!!! PS: when ordering for kids you may mention the level/ amount of spice according to your preferences.More

Research Nusa Dua for halal food outing & found out about Bakso Garasi. And it’s really damn excellent and tasty. Local delicacies at its best. So far of all Bakso I’ve tried, this is no 1 when you come bali.

It’s Bakso that I’ll never get bored. The gravy is perfect because it made of combination of herbs and beef (bones) stock. The Bakso itself is consist of Bakso Urat, Bakso keju, and Bakso Goreng. Also, they provide Ayam Goreng that’s really tasty. So, this...chilly July wind gets its complementary, a bowl of hot bakso! P. S. It might a bit pricey compare to other Bakso. But you should try to know why.More

We live in Bali where it is really hard to find good bakso, their bakso was chewy and full of meat (not like any typical starchy bakso) the soup very tasty. Fried chicken also very good! Prices slightly expensive for one bowl bakso with rice...noodle, we hope that the portions can be larger :)More

Tired of Mie Goreng and sick of high priced hotel pizza? Then grab a ($3) taxi, cause we are busting out of resortland (GASP!) Located on a moderately busy stretch of road on the outskirts of Nusa Dua, Bakso Garasi is just phenomenal. It features...food from Java and Sumatra - 'Bintang' was the only word I recognized on the menu. We tried nearly everything and it was just great. The fried chicken was indeed a winner and we LOVED the noodles with chicken, greens and soup - salty and so delicious! The kids wanted seconds and a gluttonous dinner for four was still under 300,000 RPI. The owner was tremendously kind and provided great service. He explained every dish to us and even told us about the different cultural influences of each one. Great meal and great travel experience! (PS. For you sissies out there, muscle up some courage and give this a go! Your taxi driver will know how to get here. It is a lovely setting, super clean, and everyone speaks English. The food has foreign names but tastes great. You will like it!)More

So traveling with kids we spend a bit of time around Nusa Dua - the resorts suit them and it's a good place to just relax however we always get sick of the same resort/Bali Collection/Benoa food. So happy we found Bakso Garasi! I think...the cab driver was petty excite too. Couldn't really read the menu (lots of ayam - chicken) but had a fair idea but also asked the server what he recommended. Fried chicken - do it! Only a small serve (like a miniature maryland) so we ordered four (one each) but could have had more and it's cheap as. Bakso (chicken balls in soup) fantastic and the noodles with minced chicken also great. We have a terrific meal, even our 7 and 9 year olds really enjoyed it. Nothing spicy (tonnes of flavour) but a great sambal if you needed it. Almost didn't want to write this review as I don't want this place to get too busy but they service great, food is fresh and the beer ice cold - couldn't be happier.More
