During 10 days staying at Melia Bali we ate thère 4 times as twice we went for all day trips. Such a shame we tried this restaurant not from day 1 as we would probably eat there every night. I am a very fan of sushi and here where I live there is not many places I can eat that tasty and real one. Was so happy when found out there is a sushi restaurant at Melia. Have a look on pictures and definitely try! Everything fresh... Puja made our hearts melted... professional and very customer orientated lad. Very communicative and could answered all our questions food related. He made our nights there special. Thank you Melia Bali for all. You have some amazing staff! Thank you Puja: Sahdhu. Sahdhu. Sahdhu!

We had a very tasty meal. Entrees of seafood, tempura and salad were all very well presented and, most importantly, tasty. The service was quick, discreet, and very prompt. In fact, it took less than 30 minutes to have the meals on the table.
Exemption requests to the standard fare were well received and posed no problems.
A very enjoyable, relaxing and complete evening. Highly recommended for the discerning diner.

Sakura is a located with the beautiful grounds and gardens of melia
We dined outside on the candle lit balcony and enjoyed a lovely meal. Whilst only a small menu selection the food was very good.
We thoroughly enjoyed everything, with the teriyaki chicken dish a real stand out.
The night was made all the better from the great service of puja !!

The food here is decent enough, i felt both of my dishes which was a share plate of assorted sushi, and a wagyu beef rice bowl, were both a bit dry and underwhelming. dessert was great though! i have vanilla ice cream on fried banana. very nice decoration on the inside.

My firs impression was our waitress Mitha, she bringa this restaurant in another level. She is so kind, proffessional, . she explains everything to her customers, gives suggestions for dishes and I enjoyed the restaurant because of her.
Sushi is below average.
But the Angus beef te derloin is amazing,best I ever had (and I'm really meat lover) it melts in your mouth and this is definitely my recommendation for a meal.
Skip dessert because the portions are tiny.

We stayed at Meliá bali for the last three nights of our honeymoon and this restaurant was so amazing that we instantly rebooked for the next night.
The setting is stunning and the sushi was one of the best we’ve ever had. We can highly recommend the Tempora prawns and spicy tuna sushi roll. We can not fault a thing.
Our main waitress was Intan, she was so lovely and took the time to talk with us after our meal. She said it was good practice for her English however her English is very very good. Thank you Intan for your amazing hospitality. The entire team were welcoming, infectiously happy and charismatic, thank you to you all for the memories and to the extremely talented chefs.
In summary one of the best dinning experiences we have ever experienced and that includes awarded restaurants.

The food was delicious and came out quickly they were very accommodating for the children by customizing a few dishes to be more kid friendly.
The highlight was Intan our waitress, such a polite and cheerful person who made us all feel very welcome and comfortable.
Intan took our entire order by memory not writing anything down and everything came out perfectly even the kids customized orders - so impressive!
Intan went above and beyond to make our dining experiences special even teaching the kids how to make jumping origami frogs.
Intan is a wonderful asset to Sakura we will return again to see her.

Wonderful food and service. The atmosphere was fantastic and the service was fun and attentive. Our waitstaff Mitha was great fun and very helpful navigating through some gluten free options. Highly recommend this restaurant

This quicly became our favorite restaurant at Melia and we got to eat here a couple of times before moving on to our next destination ❤️ The food is amazing, the staff is amazing and the atmosphere is amazing! We are traveling with a little baby and the first time we visited he was a handful. They kindly moved us in to a secluded room where you sit on the floor and found some toys for him to play with. This made the whole experience so much better! The next time we visited we sat outside which was lovely! Luckily the baby was asleep 😅 We tried almost all the sharing dishes and could not fault one. Still dreaming about the Yuzu mousse! A special thanks to Lily who with her pleasant and sweet energy made our time at the restaurant perfect ❤️ Recommend everyone to eat here if you have the chance 🤩

Exceptional dining experience. Food was superb. Mitha our waitstaff very accommodating and very knowledgeable about all the menu and as well as the other staff. Dessert was average. Overall, highly recommended and would come back again.

Enjoyed our stay at Melia Bali and especially the Sakura Japanese restaurant. The food and drinks were great and the whole experience was heightened by our attentive waitress Mitha who with her humour and great personality made our last night memorable. We ate here during our stay at Meliá Bali – the food was stunning. Very fresh sushi, well prepared with great flavours and world class service from our waitress Mitha, who even accommodated our bizarre request for an extra plate of salmon sashimi (which was amazing!)

If you are looking for a dining experience that truly exceeds your expectations, look no further than Sakura restaurant. From the moment you walk through the door, you are greeted with exceptional service. During my recent visit, I was particularly impressed with the service provided by Mitha, who went above and beyond to ensure that our evening was nothing short of perfect.
It was clear from the beginning that Mitha is a true professional who is dedicated to following Forbes standards for exceptional service. She recognized us by name and made sure that we felt like valued guests throughout the entire meal. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, and she was able to recommend her personal favorites with great enthusiasm. She anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, making sure that our glasses were never empty and that each dish was brought to our table at the perfect time.
Of course, the food at Sakura is also outstanding. The preparation and presentation of each dish was flawless, and the flavors were nothing short of amazing. From the appetizers to the desserts, everything was perfectly balanced and delicious. But what really made our evening stand out was the exceptional service provided by Mitha. She truly is a real asset to this restaurant and deserves recognition for her outstanding dedication to making guests feel special.
Overall, I highly recommend Sakura restaurant for anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience. From the top-notch service to the incredible cuisine, it is clear that this restaurant is truly dedicated to providing the best possible experience for their guests. And with Mitha as your server, you are sure to have a dining experience that you will remember for a lifetime.
