What an amazing location, right on the beach! We got a delicious spread of all different seafood BBQ items, plus there was live music! Amazing!

We went to new dewata cafe for a sunset beach dinner cause it was recommended to us by our hotel. It turned out to be the worst dinner experience I’ve had in years! The fish and tiger prawns where plain the lobster (langoust) where borderline...dry the crab was covered in sweet sour sauce but the shell not cracked by the time you’re ready to eat you’re (figure of speech) covered in sweet sour sauce up to your elbows. The cutlery was dirty (still food from the previous dinners on the fork). My wife ordered a sprite which when they came to pour it at the table still had brown gew on the bottom of the glass. So in one dinner we had to ask for both clean cutlery as for a clean glass. Eventually I gave up eating because I got bored of the food and did not want to continue being disappointed. When we addressed the staff about the issues it was ignored. Went to pay at the counter and left, without eating the dessert that was included in the menu’s price. About the prices… Price is twice as high as those of a GOOD quality restaurant in Bali and about four times higher than a normal diner on the same island. I wouldn’t even go back there if they payed me for it. I hope I helped your decision making proces. If not I’ll summarize: go elsewhere.More

Staying in Jimbaran so had to try one of the seafood cafes along the beachfront that I had read so much about. Organised a driver through Romeo-Bali & Heron picked us up on time & recommended this cafe. It was such a delight from the...time we walked in. We were greeted with smiles from the staff & shown to a table right at the front of the beach which was perfect to watch the sunset. I chose bbq red snapper which was delicious and whilst eating we were treated to singing from a quartet. Highly recommend this little cafe & prices are very reasonable.More

We ended up having dinner here as part of a tour package. Had I know this was the restaurant we would end up at, I would have canceled. I think we spent 20mins there. Soup for starters... Gloop more like it, I refused to taste...it as it looked like snot!! Seafood platter with cold crab, tiny pieces of calamari on a skewer, something that looked like clams, 2 raw cold prawns, fish with steamed rice and ice cold green veg. At least the rice was decent!! Do not waste your time or money.More

Where do I start. We came one late afternoon for a family seafood dinner. Coming from sydney our expectations were very high. We were disgusted. We ordered a platter for 2. The lobster, fish, crab, mussels and calamari. It came with steamed rice. What an...absolute joke. My husband refused to eat any of it. I tried it and it was disgusting. Not to mention we paid $150. There was hardly any seafood on the plate and it was cooked terribly. Worst dinner ever. Stay away!!More

We were enticed by the free pickup and drop off at our hotel so decided to choose this restaurant. We ordered a Long Island Iced Tea and a Mojito and they both tasted like pure jet fuel. Horrible! One of the kids had a mango...juice We ordered a small red snapped, garlic prawns and a kg of fried squid. The food arrived cold and bland. There were almost no sauceoptions for people who can’t or don’t eat chili. The included vegetables were basically cold Chinese broccoli that. The fruit was a small plate of unappealing watermelon and melon. That plus a decent serving of white rice cost us AUD150. Totally not at all worth it. Massively disappointed and have been put off eating at the beach restaurants for the remaining 4 nights we are in Jimbaran. Ate at a warung today and wished we’d discovered it before! Unless you just want alcohol in your system and don’t get much seafood in your country, don’t waste your time and especially money. I’m not saying that the other restaurants will be any better.More

Terrible food - some of the worst seafood I've had - and ridiculously overpriced for what you get. Toilets were dirty, kitchen looked dirty (we only saw after we finished!) and seafood smelled bad at the entrance. We entered from the beach so didn't see...any of that in the way in. The rating was quite high on Google Maps, I should've known to check TripAdvisor as well.More

We looked forward to having our first seafood in Bali at this place. It was such a disappointment. We ordered one of the package meals. It had a lobster, crab, fish, calamari, prawns and scallops. Crab soup came out first. That was nice so we...thought the rest would be just as good. The seafood platter came out and it was disgusting. Lobster was over cooked and burnt. Fish was a size 5 leather boot. Calamari wasnt any better. Dont bother sitting right infront of the water. You can't see what you're eating due to lack of lighting. Table cloth was dirty and worn out with holes. It cost use $140aud for this meal with a few drinks. For $140 we could've had a better seafood experience in Australia!!! I would highly recommend to stay clear of this place.More

Really enjoyed the location with being on the beach and listening constant noise of sea waves making the environment more natural and beautiful. On the entrance you can select the sea food of your choice present live in the glass cases. One should not miss...to enjoy local sea food with pleasant natural environment, even if you’re not a seafood lover 😊. Our those friends who don’t like seafood didn’t enjoy food there but everybody enjoyed being there due to surroundings.More

We went to this restaurant as the last stop of our day tour. It was supposed to be the highlight of our evening, but in the end it was just so so. The tablecloths were worn out and full of holes, the view is really...underwhelming at night, the food was average and it was close to impossible to eat the crab as no cutlery was provided to open it. Also a group of musician came to play for us but as they finished they asked for a tip. After we gave them, they complained that we didn’t give enough. This made us feel very uncomfortable and totally ruined the mood of our dinner. As this was included in a day tour, we « only » paid 600000 idr for 2, but apparently some other people were charged really unreasonable price for the same menu. On the bright side, the 2min little firework at the beginning of the dinner was nice. Eating toes in the sand is enjoyable. And the seaside view might be ok during day time for lunch or just sipping a cocktail.More

My friend and I were brought here by our driver for dinner. The food was really quite average, i.e. food served to us was served lukewarm and not hot, so that was not very satisfying. The mussels and prawns were grilled and they tasted fresh...(although served lukewarm). However, the disappointment was the steamed garoupa fish....one bite and we knew that the fish was not fresh..it tasted very fishy, like stale fish taste. (The waiter said that the fish was caught that morning, but I don't think so). Overall, very average food (on the lower scale) and the prices were quite expensive. The one good thing the restaurant manager did do was to give us half price on the fish since we had eaten a bit of it. Most likely not visit here again.More

We were brought here by our guide, as part of the package for the tour that we booked. The restaurant was okay, the setting was nice, by the beach side and it was so serene. The food however was nothing to shout about, just average...and the price was expensive. If you have no choice but to eat here (like we did), order the deep fried squid and the honey chili prawn. Don't order too many items, not worth the money.More
