Did NOT expect a restaurant this nice in this part of Bali. Crowded streets and pooly lit alleys but once you enter the restaurant you are transformed into another place of exquisite food, tropical ambiance, superb service, and squeaky clean modern restrooms. Cannot over recommend...this restaurant enough.More

Well, thank you for a lovely review. We only wish we could be open soon and welcoming all the travellers who will be reading it, and dreaming of their next visit to Bali. Roll on, that new era!

A hidden gem in the back streets of Kuta. From the moment you walk in you’re transported from the madness of what is Kuta to dining under the stars in an oasis. This place is so romantic & we love coming here every time we...visit Bali. The service is always exceptional from start to finish. The food quality and presentation is exceptional with impeccable attention to detail. We look forward to our next visit.More

All you favourite traditional Indonesian food we had the sate and mie goreng. The pina coloada is a thrilling experience coming in hand carved piece of coconut art.

Whenever we are in Bali, we always have a meal at Poppies and it never disappoints. The outside sheltered atmosphere is great and the food tasty and ample. Even when it rains and is out of season, nothing changes. Great food at reasonable prices.

This is a restaurant we have used many times over the years but this last visit simply wasn’t good enough. Although it is a beautiful place to dine and has a great atmosphere it needs to pay more attention to the food. Firstly the beer...was warm and they didn’t have any stubby holders. We asked for the seared tuna to be rare but seared on the outside but it just came as a raw piece of fish. My speciality pork dish was bland, tasteless and I just left it. We had ordered a glass of wine to have with the meal as well and this needed ice to make it cool. We pointed this out but it was just ignored andIt was the one and only visit of our holidayMore

Having just replied to your glowing review of our adjacent hotel, Poppies, I scrolled down to the bottom of your many reviews on Kuta, and came across your 5-bubble one for us in 2015! The other day, of all your myriad fine reviews, our restaurant...More

Not impressive. We had high hopes for this place as our companion had experience here and was very enthousiastic. I had the Avocado and prawn cocktail which was drenched in cocktail saus, making it difficult to taste anything else; the Captains Seafood Platter was an...offense to Poseidon as they completely dried out the lobster, big prawns and fish. The only thing edible were the fries and the calamaris rings. So, no... perhaps we should have gone for the Indonesian cuisine, as that looked and smelled amazing. Next time, perhaps.More

Yes, next time - we hope.... We're so sorry about the overcooked seafood - we can assure you that we'll be back to the drawing board, as it's pretty key.

We first came here 32 years ago and the place has barely changed. Such a lovely atmosphere. Food was lovely and service was great. The garlic bread is the same as it was 32 years ago.

We absolutely loved this place. The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful with a gorgeous pond in the middle. It had a great menu so it was hard to decide what we wanted. The food was amazing so I would definitely recommend.

Stayed in the hotel, so why not eat in the restaurant too. We enjoyed our meal here very much. The desserts were also very standout for me!
