I enjoyed going to this cafe last time I was in Varanasi and was happy to find that it was still around and offering the same quality and range of tasty food. Great atmosphere as well, staff are so friendly and make you feel welcome. The only suggestion for improvement would be increasing the range of vegan options, for example... More

I really liked this cafe tucked away in the back lanes of Assi Ghat. The food is very simple and full of flavour. I have had the Kicharee (twice) and also the lemon lassi. Just great. The decor is basic but the atmosphere is calm and looks over the interesting laneways. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful.... More

A quick getaway from Indian food during our stay in Varanasi. We enjoyed the very fresh salad, pasta, veggie burgers. Aum cafe is tucked in an alley full of cows... but we definitely didn't disappoint after finding the small hideaway on 2nd floor, loved the space and the people we met. All very warm and kind. Oh and the lemon... More

Very nice cafe close to Assi Ghat. This family run business put a lot of attention on welcoming people. The place is small but very friendly. Prices are low and food is good. You get free Wifi and they also support some charity organization. A place to go in Varanasi.

If you have to eat one place every day, make it here, and you'll never be sick. All the food tastes so balanced. It's also well affordable- and there is even bottomless boels of kichadi!
