Apart from the service and the staff being very helpful. The food was not upto the mark. The mutton dishes were really good but apart from that everything was ok. Not much verity for vegetarians.Food quality for breakfast could have been better.
The wine and food was delicious and the service exemplary. All the staff seem to be great conversationalists. At our request they made some rajasthani curry (though it wasn't part of the buffet) Next time, I'm definitely going to stay here (rather than come just...for dinner!)More
Buffet only in a rustic lodge ambience.
Limited options and of course it’s almost exclusively Indian offerings which I do no particularly care for anyway. Everything is in a soupy sauce. I have to go with nan (good stuff) and rice.
That said the desert...offerings were better. Nice banana trifle and a fair ice cream.
Service was OK but not exceptional.More
The dining room itself is stunning. Really embraces its history with taxidermy and old photos on the walls.
Had a good range food on offer both continental and Indian. Other restaurants I stayed at did have a larger range but I still found plenty to...eat!More
The Dining Room.. Vivanta By Taj a big name.. but lacks food taste a bit.. even though they tried their best to serve us... Hospitality is excellent but I would again say Food Taste Not UPTO MARK.. if you are in Ranthambore the only best...place to eat is at Oberoi Vanyavillas...
P.S My wife was ok with food.. but due to some allergic problems they prepared special food for me thats the great thing ..
Also not to forget.. they only have buffet option and not la carte.. (for both lunch and dinner)
Better I suggest go for simply best 1 that is Oberoi.. we had wonderful experience except one misunderstandingMore
