On my first night in Leh, I was here after being in the open for many hours. I was chilled to the bone & it took me just a few morsels of finger - licking Tibetan food to warm up. The restaurant has a beautiful...gate with ivy on both sides. It's outdoor & indoor seating. I chose to eat Chicken Sabagleb (stuffed bread), Chicken Thukpa (soupy noodles), & Mutton Momos (dumplings). Every single item was delish. My only negative was the server was extremely reluctant to pack the leftovers for me. Anyhow, as I'd enjoyed the food so much that I returned here for another meal before I left Leh. In my second visit, lunch this time, I'd Chicken Momos Steamed & Chicken Thenthuk (a one-pot meal).More

One of the most authentic and tastiest food with pleasing ambiance. Worth visiting for trying out local as well as other cuisines. Must visit when in leh. I enjoy being here.

Visited this nice cosy place right at the busy junction twice. The evening one had live music with hot soup, monos, noodles & rice and Next day lunch with chicken thukpa, soup, noodles & rice The food was excellent, so also the ambience and service...to match. Pricing reasonable but the best part the location... From here you can walk down to the Dalai Lama Temple on one side or to the Bhagsu waterfall & temple on the other or up to Dharamkot or to the Lake & beautiful snow covered Naddi or down to Dharamshala townMore

Since I was in Leh for the first time and wanted to taste local cuisine, I asked my guide Dorjey to suggest me a restaurant which serves authentic local food. He suggested that I should try food at Tibetan Kitchen. The place was crowded which...showed that it was popular among the tourists. We ordered some mutton momos, noodles and few to Tibetan dishes and I must say they were worth savouring. During my stay in Leh I went almost four times to Tibetan Kitchen to eat and each time I tried my hands at a different dish. I would recommend people to try their food at least once.More

We were delighted to visit the TK again this year. The food, the ambience and the servers were A-One as before. Best Cold Coffee w ice Cream, Momos and Thupka in Leh. And, their Chilly Chicken wasn't too bad either! Look forward to a revisit...next year.More
