Amazing fresh seafood with tons of options. The owner was the sweetest lady ever and made our experience even better!

We went for an evening meal and had a great time. The staff are the owners so it is a very personal, friendly and attentive service. The choice on the menu was excellent - lots of choices on the general menu plus many specials on...the day. It is a lovely setting beside the water. They serve soft drinks and also an excellent white wine and beers. We had the chicken curry which was delicious and a great portion size including a popodom, chutney, rice and roti. Very reasonable cost. The best new we had during our week in Savusavu.More

We went for dinner on New Year’s eve, anticipating a special evening given the previous reviews. We could not have been more disappointed. It felt as though the very limited menu choices were based upon what leftovers they wished to use from the fridge. $80...for ‘a seafood platter’ which was grossly overpriced and tasteless. 4 calamari rings, 2 halves of two different lobsters (the tail meat was approx 4cm in length) and a tiny side salad. Sadly I could not recommend this restaurant to anyone.More

After high praise on reviews such as this and in travel guides - we had expected something a bit better which is why it’s a 3 star review (Average.) Not shambolic, but not amazing. The menu is mainly western with dishes such as schnitzel, pasta...and burgers; many with a Fijian twist with a local fish etc. We had the crab ravioli which was good overall, pasta was more than al dente (another minute in the pan wouldn’t of gone a miss.) The salad leaves were dressed and the beers were cold. The garlic toast was exactly that - square bread toast - European folk - quite rightly I suppose don’t look for your garlic baguette or focaccia here. Reasonable price, though dearer than other places in Savusavu and the service was attentive (considering we were the only ones there!)More

Just want to say I've been to this restaurant before and it used to be pretty good. The food quality has more dived and the prices have gone up since last visit. Disappointing. Firstly, the woman who seemed to be running the place refused to...remove French fries off the bill when I told her they were not good an we didnt want them (totally under cooked) and then when my meal I ordered was unavailable and she said they could substitute the crab for a seafood mix (seafood mix = mostly whitefish and supposed lobster, which seemed to be missing in action). I was charged an extra 10 dollars for this swap without being told. It ended up being $75 for two little seafood crepes and 2 glasses of wine. My sister in law paid $49 dollars for 2 gin and tonics! We laughed all the way home to keep from crying. Never going back. The place is by the water but so is everything so whoop-de-doo. Nothing fancy about this place. Save your money for snorkeling.More

Don't be put off by the entrance. The food is delicious. There were three of us and we all had a different fish dish and we all loved our choices and I had the BEST banana fritter!
