The best meal of our Fiji holiday. A small but varied menu of seafood and steak cooked to perfection. Do not let the entrance to the restaurant deter you. The food here was amazing. Best tuna my husband has ever eaten!

Utterly delicious and spectacular presentation of the 4 dishes our party ordered. This is the jewel of Savusavu on the bay in a relaxed atmosphere with attentive hosts. We always call in for a meal when down from Labasa.

Literally the best chef in Fiji right now. My niece had the green curry tuna for main and berry chocolate for pudding. I was driving back to Suva (Interlink ferry from Nabouwalu) so I only had a kokoda. I have been to this restaurant many...times, and it was my niece’s first visit. We started with fresh sowsop juice which was the perfect temperature of cold and bursting with flavour. They obviously serve it pure and undiluted. Yum! My niece’s tuna was perfectly cooked with melt-in-your-mouth textures. The chutney and raita were a taste experience in their own right. My kokoda was so divine that I literally could not stop eating to photograph it. As I mentioned, I have been to this restaurant many times with my family and we always visit whenever in Savusavu. I have never once had a dish that has been less-than Michelin star quality.More

This chef is outstanding. We ate here 4 times during our stay in Savusavu, rotating and sharing dishes and there were no disappointments. The curries were particularly great—we sampled the green curry tuna, red curry ahi, and a mud crab curry. The crab meat crepes...were outstanding—a must order. Chowders we’re all very good and we finished off every meal with their excellent lemon crepe dessert. The staff is friendly and accommodating, making sharing the table with picky kids a much more enjoyable experience.More

We went to Surf and Turf three times in the 10 days we were in Savusavu. Each meal was very good to great. The first night was fish in curry sauce. Second was seafood pasta. Third lobster and ahi. The staff is friendly. The owner/chef...was helpful in recommendations and specially designed the seafood pasta for us. Nice waterfront location. Prices on the high end for the town, but in line with quality and still about half the price of US. Highly recommended.More

Don’t be put off by the entrance way and basic surroundings. This restaurant had extra ordinary food, so good we ate there twice, and even took home curry for dinner. Anything with their home made pasta was delicious, try the crab and lobster dishes.

The food here is great. It's a simple, menu with the daily specials from the fresh ingredients. It's not a rushed or terribly fancy environment. Just what someone needs to have some great food and relax in Savusavu.

Run by an older couple the food was beautifully cooked and delicious. Seafood their specialty. We enjoyed wahu, snapper, mud crab, flipper lobster and prawns. Coconut creme brulee to finish 😋

I loved my meal and so did everyone in our group that night. The Coconda and the kingfish was delicious! I would have loved to go back if I'd had more time.

This is an excellent restaurant for both local and international food. The chef (Vijen) is former chef with Namale and Couteau resorts, and therefore very experienced. He makes delicious food, with this freshly bought ingredients from the local market. If you want lobster, mud crabs...or even fancy western food like past, this is the place to go.More
