Beautiful setting to enjoy dinner. The food is very tasty. It has quite an extensive menu tailoring to all tastes. The fish options were great. It's probably tourist prices but definitely worth a visit.

Visited thrice during our recent stay in Savusavu. Very good meals served in decent time. Will drop by next time in Savusavu
Great place for a quiet drink and a meal while you watch the world slowly drift past. Ideal to time the visit to watch the sun slowly set in the evening. Loved the local version of beef curry, spiced as you like it and at...reasonable prices.More
Wonderful spot overlooking the Savusavu harbour and great for people and boat watching. Food was good (try the Thai curry) and reasonably priced.
Floor staff were helpful. The order was stuffed. Waited 45mins for pizza. Table next to us got there pizza before ours we ordered before them. Asked the lady where pizza was she said coming out now they were slicing it for us? It still didn't...arrive for 15 minutes. Our loaded fries came to the table as plain fries. The woman he takes orders needs to write it down. She stuffed up our black tea by giving us a white coffee? We went the following day only for convience nothing else was open. With a lovely smiling Fijian lady serving us our order was perfect.More
Great place for catchups and drinks in the garden area- whether you're having a coffee milkshake or a Fiji Gold :)
Lots of choices here if you are tired of eating largely the same the at every other restaurant in town. Pizza was especially good, and the views from the tables on the deck are lovely.
Order the fish and chips! Had a fun night here with the band playing and Captain Jay from our snorkel excursion.
It was a little confusing as to where Copra Shed was and figured this was it as there was a big menu on the window. When ordering, I noticed their TA award on the wall and it said Captain's Cafe. Oh well! Glad we made...the "mistake" as the fish n chips were really good. We actually went over to the Copra Shed and sat down. It looked like it would've been more expensive to order from their menu to be honest. It was a little more upscale. However, we were basically seated in the same area along the marina. While it was hot (no breeze coming from one direction), it was still ok and the views were good. We actually went back a few times for lunch and always got the fish which was about $18FJD I think. Not gigantic portions but at least 3 small filets and fries which was plenty for me. The menu was large, so definitely try other things while there!More
The town of Savusavu is majestically located and very friendly, but it is certainly not your typical tourist town. Walking into Captain's Table felt like a breath of fresh air. It was beautifully situated on the harbor, attractive, airy, and had an expansive menu. Some...of the dishes were presented in ways that I was not used to, but all were delicious. (Also, their iced mocha was to die for!). We liked it so much that we went back twice more during our stay!More
I had an excellent easter special 4 course meal here, all for just 50FJD, with amazing local dishes including kakoda and lobster and coconut crusted fish, all with interesting local sides and well cooked. Ate like a king and was treated brilliantly all evening! So...much better than eating at the expensive local resorts.More
Each time I visit Savusavu, I enjoy the atmosphere and beautiful scenery of the Savusavu Yacht Club. I would go across to the Captain’s Cafe and have my daily dose of delicious, refreshing Fruit Smoothie which consists of pawpaw, pineapple and banana. On this trip...I was served a glass of a concoction of it that was deadly sweet. It tasted like bottled juice was added to it. I enquired about it but was re-assured no sugary or flavoured cold drink was added to the Smoothie. I drank it thinking it was my taste buds being sensitive. I couldn’t sleep the whole night! It was disappointing because it’s my favourite drink when I get to Savusavu town. Also the day before I was served this drink in a glass covered with an overflow of smoothie which ended up all over my phone. Also the straw is paper which begins falling apart shortly after using it An inconsistence taste and sloppy service is unacceptable. Very disappointed.More
Bustling little cafe right on the water. Quite a modern decor, clean and fresh. Food and drinks were OK. Pretty tasty. But really it was the feel of the place that was best. Locals and visitors table to table.
Well placed on the water front with friendly, helpful staff. Coffee is excellent and some good value meals to be enjoyed too. A lovely spot to sit and chill.
A wonderful waterside venue. We had the seafood catch of the day and it was delicious. Came back the following day and tried their cafe, also excellent. We had the fish and chips, locally caught fresh fish. Outstanding
