Is it normal to be insulted by a manager? Went to Bombay for a meal, it used to be really good service and food. Ordered only 2 spaghetti bolonaise and 2 colas. Had the drinks and after 50 minutes of no sign of the food...I asked how long it would be. They told me its ready and to wait. No sorry for the delay nothing. Another 20 minutes passed and still no sign of the food having asked several times. I went to the bar paid for the drinks and told them I'm leaving having waited 1 hour and 10 minutes. I was met by abuse and the manager calling me habla....little did he know I understand Arabic. Is an hour and 10 mins acceptable to wait for some pasta? We went to shereton after and ordered the same and it took only 10 minutes. So just a warning to people it may take a while if you go to Bombay for food and even you may be insulted when you find the waiting time unacceptableMore

Some friends in sahl hasheesh told us about here. So why not we thought. Arrived only 1 person in. Quickly was shown a table a menu was given showing a special 4 course with a drink included. Menu 1. Shrimp cocktail garlic bread. Pumpkin soup....Fillet steak roast potatoes carrots green beans and courgettes and berinase sauce. Strawberries n ice cream and a drink. We both opted for this as it looked fabulous value at only 260 le. Well it came the shrimp cocktail was lovely. Pumpkin soup served hot and with pitta bread. Fillet steak cooked perfect 1 rare 1 med rare. Veg nice not soggy. Potatoes had a sprinkling of rosemary on. Very nice and the sauce was served separate in a sauce boat. Like that little touch please yourself how much you put on. And may I say it's one of the best berinase sauces Ive tasted dessert was just enough. Overall I would say it was a most enjoyable meal with nice attentive service without being over the top. If your looking for a posh environment it's not for you. Clean surroundings a little tired. But who cares when we've just eaten this lovely meal.More

We were in Gurgaon for just a day, and the guide took us to this Indian restaurant. we were three families. I ordered pizza, and after 20 minutes was told the oven will take an hour to heat up.really ? Even a wooden oven doesn't...take that long ! Changed the order. the first table took 2 hours to be served !! What a waste of time. We were all finished after a four hour bus ride and our half our time was already being water waiting for food which was barely edible. We finally left hungry ! NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!!More

Can't give it any rating, was here last year and was very good. This time a total disgrace, from start to finish, a complete disaster. No order written down was the start, do you need to write this down, no. Order was wrong!!!!! Red wine...brought in an ice bucket. Big outside wooden menu brought in and left on the table. Asked for naan bread, got garlic bread with cheese, wasn't expensive for us, but no Egyptian would pay for what was served. This place will soon be closed like many others, just don't go, curry water with six small pieces of chicken.More

After searching on tripadvisor for Indian Restaurants in Hurghada I found this restaurant (Bombay Swiss Way )so we decided to give it a try walked in and had to find a table for ourselves, the waiter arrived with menus . There were only a few...Indian dishes on the menu , couldn't find dhal in the menu I asked the waiter if they can do a portion of dhal for us as we prefer more vegetables than meat he did not have a clue of what I was asking for. then I asked if the chef is Indian he says no. I was in doubt how authentic this Indian Restaurant is. I ordered a Lamb curry , Aloo gobi, prawn Biriyani ,Basmati boiled rice , when the food arrived I opened the lid of the Biriyani and it looked nothing like a Biriyani I found some prawn curry poured over some brown rice , the Aloo Gobi had far too much sauce Lamb Curry had very little flavour only thing cooked properly was the boiled rice . In the U.K. i have seen students from Africa and the middle eastern countries working part time in Indian Restaurants as helpers I'm guessing may be this chef is one of them who went back home and claimed he is an Indian chef . I never had an Indian meal like this before I don't understand why this restaurant is fooling people by using the name Bombay and claiming Indian Restaurant .More

I always pop in here whenever I am in Hurghada. Not so much for the food but the beers and to use the wifi. Altogether go I do like their 4 cheese pizzas. The staff are superbly friendly and the atmosphere is great. One thing...I don't like and disagree with completely is people sitting I here with their dogs. It's a restaurant and there is food being prepared and people are eating. Don't go in with your dogs, you wouldn't do it in your own country. One tip! The Indian food is not very nice and that's coming from a friend who was with me and ordered the Indian menu, baring in mind it is named Bombay, but don't let that fool you. Defo worth a visit. The owner is normally sitting in there in the evening getting plastered.More
