On our drive from the airport, I asked the taxi driver for a restaurant recommendation. He said a lot of tourists like this place or that place, but you should go to Kioskos, they will have anything you want. At the time it sounded kind...More

Brujo (Scorpion Fish) are displayed outside most restaurants. We shared one grilled. Delicious. Be certain to order a side of the Patacones (smashed fried plantains, also on most menus) with cheese. They are addictive. Good batidos, cold beer. Dinner for 2 - $35.

At the end of the meal, they change prices compared to the ones written on the menu. I asked to check with the menu and the manager just said "oh sorry". Now I realise that it's not the first time (thanks to other comments on...More

Renato is highly personable and very passionate about his food. We ate here every night for 5 nights and loved the food every time. The fish and lobster are really fresh (and look much better than the products in neighbouring restaurants) and the sauces are...More

Good food in the middle of the street. Try lobster with garlic or coconut. Before you order talk abouth the orice. The food is prepared in an open kitchen

The food was good, but I found them dishonest they changed the price of the food we ordered. And the manager was very rude. I don’t recommend this place.

Well we had two choices chicken or tuna and both were cooked decent. The picture attached is tuna but could be the chicken also. This place has nice central feel to the town, it's right across from the marina.

We went and had tuna steaks (fish of the day). It was $10 each which is reasonable for the Galapagos and it was a really good meal. Recommend going here. You could also get lobster!

During the day the restaurants are closed and the street is open to vehicle traffic. About 6pm all the restaurants open and put their tables in the street for dinner service. The restaurants are very similar here but went here on the recommendation of our...More

They have the best ceviche we tried while we were in the Galapagos (and we ate ceviche every day!). Delicious food, and a fantastic atmosphere on the kiosk street!

Renato's. They are located just off the corner of Av Baltra and Charles Binford. It's a street that comes alive at night with many little restaurants grilling various different types of food. Renato is actually the man at the grill and owner, a great fellow at that. This is definetly good food at a reasonable price. You can get a meal anywhere from $5.00 to a full lobster (when in season) for $25.00. Just visited there in mid October 2011. I believe the street is also referred to as the Kiosko. We also ate at some other restaurants in Puerto Ayora, but this one had a real adventurous and local feel.
