This is the hotel restaurant and as such you would expect it to be a bit more expensive which it was. It is a lovely setting, either outside or inside with some big round tables and comfy seats but was let down by the sushi. The rice was too dry and not well seasoned so pretty disappointing, we should have... More

Sushi was good and a great price. We shared several rolls. Teriyaki chicken was also very good. Very clean. Friendly staff. Highly recommend!

For this level of restaurant, the menu was very affordable - 4-piece nigiri was about $4-5 I believe, fish was fresh although very thinly sliced. Rice was sub-par and not sticky nor seasoned. Same rice affected the sushi rolls but fish and shrimp tempura were up to snuff. Fair pricing at $11-15 per roll which yielded 8 pieces each I... More

The location is really nice if you make it before the sun sets. We tried the sushi and didn't believe it was anything special. I would recommend it for pre-dinner drinks.

Red Mangrove has a sushi bar - a unique feature in the Galapagos. Service was so-so, but we enjoyed our food. Came in #2 (behind Isla Grill) due to taste and price. Red Mangrove was pricier than other options.

The location with the view out to the bay and yet the seclusion of being located at the end of Charles Darwin Av. was very nice. The staff went above and beyond to sit us outside as a group of 5, as most of the tables were for smaller groups. They literally made a spot for us. The service was... More

A great quiet relaxing spot for lunch on the back deck. You will see sea lions swimming under the deck and other wildlife. The best Caipirinhas! It's location is very close to the Darwin Center so go there in the morning then stop here for drinks and lunch. We did not do the buffet - personally don't like buffets. A... More

Enjoyed nice buffet meals here during a three night stay in Santa Cruz during the nights of June 30, July 1, and July 5, 2012. The staff was excellent, too.

Although it was closed when we came one evening (cruise ship booking), we returned and enjoyed a delicious, unhurried meal with friends. Nice service, great sauces, moderate quantity, excellent presentation. A nice place.

Fun to sit on the deck and have cocktails. Didn't really taste food except for plantain chips which were delicious.Great view of harbor. Wear bug repellant!
