This indoor/outdoor restaurant is eclectic! The service and food were exceptional. Heuvos Rancheros and pancakes for breakfast... fabulous. Went three days in a row. Eclectic... decor included the three stooges, Groucho Marx and local Ecuadorian artwork. This place is located in the heart of Cotacachi and surrounded by other great shops. This place is VERY customer friendly!

American and traditional breakfasts at very reasonable prices served with a smile by owner Santiago and his wife. Last time I had huevos rancheros for $3.50 and could not finish it. Fresh juices made to order ... pineapple, guava, orange, etc. They speak a little English. Tell them Jack and Debbie sent you!

This local restaurant is a touch stone for those seeking comfort food. I sneak off for my pancake brunch fix whenever I feel the need. The dishes are American and Ecuadorian; lunch specials or a la carte possibilities. Burritos are good and hearty. Friends like the chicken dishes and desserts. Crazy busy on Thursdays as a pleasant local market is... More

This was a great spot to eat for my family, especially my kids. They serve breakfast all day, so it is a treat to eat good waffles, french toast, and pancakes. The smoothies were delicious as well, and great prices!

Love Solid Rock's burritos, tacos and burgers. Since my last visit they added an overhang which allows you to sit outside but avoid the sun and/or rain. Food is always fast and good. Consistency is not a given here in Ecuador 😊 so it's nice to get what you expect. Prices are excellent. Today I asked for no cheese in... More

Unlike american restaurants everything here is bought fresh at the market 2 blocks away . Its not Denny's but neither are the prices. Breakfast is anything american you can think of. Blueberry pancakes are not dehydrated blueberres. Eggs are not hormone grown. Lunch is always great and fresh such as trout . Service is great and always with a smile.... More

Solid Rock is closed on Sundays, but open every other day from 9 until 5. They have quite a varied menu and are happy to accommodate substitutions if needed. Great food.
