Dined her in 2/14/17. I call for a reservation on 1/3/17 hoping to get a table at one of the most difficult restaurants to get in to in Atlantic City. After leaving a voicemail message for my requested date and time, it was about five days later before the owner called me back and confirmed my reservation. We're in!! Our... More

There is a scene in the movie "The Godfather" where they talk about a little Italian restaurant in NYC as having the "Best Veal In the City".....Wellll Michael Corleone has never been to Chef Vola's, because if he had he would have realized there is no better veal served in NJ or NY. the Veal parmigiana needs no knife and... I've tried to go to Chef Vola's for the past few years as I visit Atlantic City each year. Not the easiest place to get a reservation at. This year I called and got lucky. So the two of us went to the friendliest, cozier, coolest Italian restaurant I've ever been to. As a former NYer it takes quite a... More

My husband and I would eat here a few times a year but it became such a hassle with having to call and leave a message, hope the restaurant calls you back to get reservations. The atmosphere is terrible. You either get a tiny table in the basement or if your lucky on the porch. It's very very cramped and... More

Reservations only & BYOB. Best Italian in entire state of New Jersey. Served family style. Southern Italy's best. Small basement neighborhood house. Waitress from memory, "Vegetables for the table, broccoli rabe, fresh green beans, I also have spinach,'' she says. "Our pasta, we have linguine, penne or angel hair. If you do clams, we'll do a white sauce or red... More

Take a walk back in time when restaurants served the best food and the service is second to none. Family owned place and lucky to get in the place. You will never eat all the food, take home for sure. 28 different desserts. An old house, dine in the basement and meet friends you did not know you knew. If... More

We had dinner at Chef Vola's for our anniversary and it was fantastic. the veal chop parmigiana is outstanding as well as the pasta in garlic and oil. The ricotta pie (warm) was unbelievable!! Can't wait to go to this restaurant again.

I am never disappointed when dining here. The food is very good and so is the service. It can be difficult to get a reservation but it is worth it. get out of the casino and talk a stroll down the boards to a quaint little place. the bone in veal chop is fantastic!

Veal Parmesan on the bone is superb! Crab cakes and the lobster franchaise are to die for. Can't go wrong with any of their meals and the pasta is done perfectly! Always save room for dessert. Only place we have dessert with so many choices!😀

Our group of 7 ate here last Wednesday night. Several of us were first timers but had high expectations. We were not disappointed. It's loud, it's very tight quarters, and it's definitely a very popular restaurant that requires reservations months in advance. Not where I would take a first date but rather a group of friends or other couples or... More
