You'll never be let down here. It is, if not thee best, then without a doubt 1 of thee best in Medellin. Think white glove 5 stars in the USA at the cost of an Applebee's.

Without a doubt the best dinning in the city. You pay for the atmosphere but it is worth it without question. Make reservations as soon as you get in town.

A must visit in Medellin if you like to eat :) Great food and amazing cocktails! We loved the beef carpaccio the best.

I write this as a single woman who went for dinner. Yes it's a lovely restaurant, and the food is probably great. But hard to try on your own. The trouble with pre-eminent restaurants is they are very popular and crowded and peraonal attention can be sparse. This place is about the tasting menu - 5 or 7 courses with... More

I have dined in most of the major cities in Latin America, and my trip planning always includes reading reviews of restaurants in a number of sources in order to identify three or four of the most highly rated restaurants beforehand. Of course, I did that before coming to Medellin. Carmen was among the city's most highly rated but was... More

We went for dinner to Carmen last night to celebrate my birthday and we had a very enjoyable experience. We each chose a starter and a main course, had a specialty cocktail and a cake was presented to me as a surprise at the end of the meal. Excellent food quality, our waitress spoke good English and was attentive. The... More

A complete journey of flavors. had the chance to taste a Matetic Corralillo again, Pinot Noir. The Grilled octopus and carpaccio were amazing, and then duck and ostrich. A beautiful place and amazing service! Thanks!

We had a very good meal at Carmen! The ingredients really shine through, except for one fish dish I had, which I thought was overly engineered but interesting all the same. The portions are quite big as we found was the norm in Colombia. I wish we could have tried more dishes, hopefully next time.
