We were taken to this restaurant by our tour guide. The building is fun and lively with lots to see. I am vegetarian and enjoyed lovely pumpkin raviolis. But the highlight was the Basil Pisco Sours. I practically cleaned the empty glass with my finger. It was delicious and made me nostalgic for my summer garden. I now wish that... More

My husband and I had a night away from the tour group. I wanted a healthy, vegetarian meal. La Marmita was the perfect choice. I ordered the summers vegetable salad. It was fresh with many different veggies. My entree was Pastonis. This dish was amazing. The pumpkin inside the "ravioli" was delicious. My husband ordered the Magellanic spider crab dish.... More

We read the Trip Advisor reviews and decided to have lunch at La Marmita. We arrived near the end of the lunch time and were seated but no one came over to serve us. Perhaps we should have caught on to the fact that we were coming at a cut off time that would require them to stay open later.... More

Marmite offers a very option to try the dish of the region, the cordero patagonico, but not in the asado style but slow cooked.

I have visited this place in 2013, and, again today in 2017. Interior is awesome, staff - friendly and some -English speaking. Cuisine must have changed -two of the dishes were great but ceviche not so.....Anyway this remains one of a kind restaurant in Puerto Madryn for lunch on my list... Go for it!

Went to this place for lunch and was not disappointed. Located some 4 blocks from the downtown waterfront, it is easy to spot with the green front. Lots of items to select from on the menu including nice appetizers and sopas, meat, vegetarian and Chilean dishes. Good beer and wine selection including liter bottle of beer. My buddies and I... Two of us ate there for our last meal in Chile before flying back to UK via Santiago - and it was up there with the best we had eaten having spent a month in this wonderful country. We sat upstairs as there were no tables available downstairs - but the setting was just as good - service good, food... More

Great local restaurant which deserves its high Trip Advisor rating. We had a brilliant lamb Tagine Chilean style and the Hare slow cooked with vegetables and olive. Bithe were superb. The house beer was a great hit as well as a lovely Chilean red. Service was helpful and friendly. Would go back any time.

Cream of carrot soup, grilled sausages and slow cooked lamb. We ordered one of each to share and took our time to dine looking out at the ever changing weather. What a meal!

We had a meal here because they have veggie food and the reviews were good. It's quite easy to find, just a few blocks from the centre of town. Atmosphere is funky and very relaxed and the staff are very friendly but the menu is a bit limited. The food is OK but nothing special. I'm glad we tried it... More
