Went to Marum for dinner last night and it was a lovely evening. The outside seating area is just beautiful under the twinkling lights. We ordered the noodle salad with sweet potato spring rolls, the mushroom brie rice balls and the lotus and coriander hummus (unreal flavor combo, yum!). These 3 dishes plus the banana fritter dessert was enough for... More

We visited this restaurant for dinner twice during our stay. The food was the best we had in Cambodia, barring the Friends restaurant in Phnom Penh which was equally delicious. Staff were attentive and kind. My friend and I tried to use training restaurants during our stay and were most impressed by what they are achieving.

A good place to rest and recharge. It is quiet with tables outside in a garden. The food is very good and not very spicy. Local specialties with various choice and a good tasting menu. The teacher/student staff is very kind . Also it is great to enjoy good food and contribute to a cause

Superb dining experience for lunch while contributing to a program that helps to advance challenged and disadvantaged youth in Cambodia. Had the Crocodile burger - tasty & spicy with Sriracha sauce, coupled with a Passion-Fruit shake - tangy & perfectly sweetened..

We also visited Friends restaurant in Phnom Penh, which belongs to the same group of restaurants and loved it, so we tried Marum in Siem Reap. The cooking is very inspiring and mixes traditional ingredients with modern dishes. We had Crocodile Burger with Siracha Mayonaise, Fried Ants with Beef Filet and fresh Herbs, and Grilles Veggies with Lemon Leaves Pesto,... More

Our guide recommended this "restaurant run by an NGO" for lunch one day. We were not sure what would greet us but found ourselves dropped off in front of a gate with a lovely garden inside. There were many seats under umbrellas, a lovely wood building on the other side of the yard, and friendly, attentive staff. Their menu was... More

We really enjoyed our food in the wonderful setting at Marum. My wife's seabass and the panna cotta we shared were the highlights of a very nice meal. Not the cheapest meal here, but well worth it !!

Tucked away off the main drag, Marum was an oasis of peace and quiet. The staff comprised of students learning the trade and their teaching staff who were all so friendly. Food was delicious with both Cambodian and western choices. There is even a shop where you can buy souvenirs and gifts made by locals in need of a hand... More

Enjoyed a tasty meal in the garden. After dining at Friends in Phnom Penh a few times wanted to try their sister restaurant in Siem Reap. Only ordered a couple of dishes as I was on my own but enjoyed what I had. Friendly & helpful service. Had to ask for the NZ white wine to be served chilled!
