This was an incredible gem. Stopped in for lunch and tried the thom ka, the amok and the green mango salad. Everything was outstanding. The green mango salad was simply devine and just the right amount of spicy. I wish we had found this spot...sooner as we would have returned for dinner. Eating here for two dinners in a row may seem repetitive, but the menu list at Sambo Khmer & Thai Restaurant is extensive enough to warrant repeat visits. I had the Fish Amok and Morning Glory on my first, and Green Mango Salad and Stir...Fried Vegetables on my second. Both times, the food was excellent with just the added twist in flavour to make it a unique dining experience. Perhaps what sets this restaurant apart the most is the exceptional warmth that the servers give to their customers. As a solo traveller, I just wanted time alone with the food, but that also gave me an opportunity to witness the great efforts at conversation that the servers initiated with others. A truly genuine sense of welcome is present here, and makes this restaurant a must-visit if you are in Siem Reap. It gets a bit hard to find at night if you are travelling on foot, though, so make sure your location services are working.More

You should definitely eat at Sambo ! We had a wonderful evening ! The sambo family is very kind and the dishes are amazing. You should definitely try the Red Curry with pork or fish ! (The vegan option is also delicious !). The banana...rolls are divine. If I go back to Cambodia I will have meal again at sambo for sure !More
