The place was alright, tasty food and atmosphere. Though, at the end they wouldn't accept a $20 bill that we got from the airport (via the visa application) as they thought it was counterfeit and had to pay in Thai baht at a very bad rate. An exchange rate, which gave them a $5 dollar tip, which is a lot... More

Like the Khmer Kitchen next door the Khmer House offers good tasting food but it is a like more polished like a finer restaurant with cloth napkins more organized seating and outside seating. Best part .50 beers, wow. There are plenty of restaurants up and down the walkway as well as shopping.

A cool spot right in the midst of all the restaurants - really lively and plenty of great people watching to be had here! The service is very friendly and the beer is cheap. The food was nice but nothing to write home about (hence me writing about it here instead). Ok, but not tasty enough to make me feel... More

Cams here on spec and weren't disappointed - the amok was outstanding, happy hour meant beer for less than $1 and service was warm and welcoming. Meal for our family for under $30. What more could you want?! Recommended:)

We've allways enjoyed a drink in this bar, have eaten as well, the last couple of times we ate there, we've come away feeling a bit disatisfied after the meal, we felt the dishes we ordered, had a bit to much veg and lacked meat! We wouldn't eat here again, only have a drink.

You'll be happy by coming here... fast and good. Not over the top.... but OMG you are only paying $3.50 for a meal. You're right on the street... Noisy? Yes. Quick and good Food? Yes.

I have visited Siem Reap several times and the Khmer House is my most repeated venue. Food is tasty and price is reasonable. Favorite menus such as lok lak (stir fried beef), skewer, fresh spring roll, glass noodle salad...ate with Angkor beer of course.

When's the last time you paid 50 cents for a beer. Here you will and get pretty good food to go along with it. Situated in a lively street on the Pub Street Quarter, there's always something to see.

Only 24 seats just off of pup street in an alley. Closest thing to street food offering praw hook kteeh. Nice change from eating western food
