A nice restaurant in the middle of the town, huge selection of food. Staff were friendly and the food was of a good quality and very reasonably priced. Menu was in English which helped us no end. Also seemed to be frequented by locals which...is always reassuringMore

Despite the building being quite large, La Kave only actually occupies a tiny portion of it and is small and intimate. The decor is perhaps more canteen than fine dining but there is a good range of food, plenty of beer and spirits and the...menu is in English which is a real bonus. Staff were friendly and efficient, despite our lack of Russian although they didn't have a lot to do and were hanging around for much of the time looking a little bored. The food was cooked really nicely and arrived promptly and excellent value for money. Overall really impressed and can recommend.More

We went with high hopes after reading the reviews on here, but were disappointed. The service was the main problem. One waitress was very helpful and did her best, but the second one was rather impatient and didn't seem to want to help. There was...also a waiter who largely chatted to his friend whilst we were there, by the restaurant sign, on the street. He then came in to the terraced area but I didn't see him actually talk to any customers, just wander around. The drinks took a very long time to arrive, then the 3 dishes we ordered (2 mains and a side of broccoli) came with a long gap in between. We ordered a second round of drinks and only 1 came, so we asked after quite a wait for the second drink again. The bill then had an extra drink on it which we didn't order. The helpful waitress apologised for this however and quickly corrected the bill. The food was good, but the timing and service were poor. Maybe they were short staffed in the kitchen? The staff could do with more training about what is expected of them.More

Not a fancy restaurant at all, but quite easy-going atmosphere where everyone feels welcome and no 5-star formalities. But good / delicious food, wide choice, English menu and decent prices.

Food - Really good choices and had lots of local delicacies on the menu. I thought the dishes were really tasty. There was a small misunderstanding about the order and they brought me a plate of broccoli and mashed potato, but realised it was meant...to be a side dish with a little google translate. Unfortunately, when asked to keep it warm they just microwaved it when the chicken was ready. In a restaurant in london, I wouldn’t be happy, but I’ll forgive this time. The only thing that let down the experience. Service - very good service, the server struggled with English but did really well and tried to always make sure everything was okay. Price - decent price, I was impressed with the quality given how good value it was. I would say it was the cheapest meal we had in Belarus in a restaurant.More

My favorite restaurant in town. Strongly recommend this please to everyone. Employees do speak English and there is an English menu. The best place to try local food and just to have an amazing dinner overall.

Was here during the trip across Belarus. From the first minute didn’t like the atmosphere and decoration, but decided to give a chance, because of the high TripAdvisor rate. 1) Nobody meet us at the entrance. 2) The room feels very small and you don’t...feel comfort because the tables of other guests located in front of you. So you you can see others food, hear talks. 3) Behind us we head loud talks of the La Kave staff. This spoilt the atmosphere totally. 4) Food. Tough meat in the soup. In the main dish the potato was very hot but the meat was cool. The sea buckthorn tea was tasteless. Moreover the tea leak from the French press. All in all, I am disappointed of the dinner in La Kave. Hope that my review will help this restaurant to improve.More

This is the wonderful place, we didn’t check TripAdvisor before go there. We wanted go to another place, but there is not place and we chose La Kave. On the enter personal met us friendly, we asked about WiFi, they told us only inside. We...went inside and here get surprise. Manager Anna Yurievna was service us. She made our dinner wonderful. So friendly, smiling, recommended us the best dishes, when she introduce every dish we already wanna it everyone. We asked about beer as soon as it possible, server brought in 1 minute. Anna was doing check but every time, do we like or not, with smiles and friendly. During the dinner I was looking around and most important all personal was friendly with every one guest in the cafe. Total: personal are well, food tasty, atmosphere great. Recommend this place and specially Anna Yurievna))).More
