I enjoyed the coffee and walnut cookies. However, the service was very slow and indifferent. The place is quite small inside, self - service, and you have to wait in line right by the WC.

if u wanna just a coffee this is a place to visit, like lots other places it has big variety of coffee and small choice of snacks but IMHO has very nice atmosphere for relaxing

Paragraph is a great example of what a good Café should be - classy design, really comfortable furniture, well-trained and professional staff and fantastic coffee and food. We need more such Cafés!

Paragraph's second location provides the same great coffee and friendly service but with a new atmosphere - owing to the larger amount of space, the more industrial appearance of the inside, the dim lighting in the evening, and the old fashioned furniture (including a piano...which guests are welcome to play). Its also right next to the university which makes it a very convenient place to get good coffee during your break, or to study quietly.More

Well it's really the best coffee place I know. Not only in belarus, all across Europe.their coffee is super delicious, cookies and pastries as well. When I'm in Brest I always go there, at least twice. The only downside is the limited capacity. I mean...it's really limited and sometimes you won't get a seat. Maybe it's time to expand to the second floor?More

I'm a Basque (Western European) expat who has spent quite a lot of time in this city. I must admit that I'm a fan of Paragraph. It's yhe very first café of this style in Brest. The oldest one is vulitsa Sabjetskaja, which is kind...of modern (and a bit psychodelic) in the very hear of the city. The new one is by the Central Market (Kalkhozny Rynok), about 10-15min from the Central Railway Station. This last one is bigger than the old one, has a bit simpler decoration but it is definitely the most bohemiam place in the city! There are poetry-evenings (in various languages, incluidng English), accoustic concerts of begining bands, etc... which you can listen for free. There's even a big piano, which can be played by anyone (preferabily if you are tallented). Both 'Paragraphs' have a combination of local, with Western-style cafés. I am not a coffee person, so I can't speak about its quality, but the desserts are definitely good! There are also cool board games such as "Jungle Speed" or "Jenga" (which as far as I am aware, there are not in any other cafés in Brest, except for the recently closed "Coffee Time"). Again, I'm not a coffee drinker myself, but in general, the price of drinks and sweets is pretty much the same as in other cafés (even the tackiest ones are not necesarily cheaper). So either if you are for a stopover in Brest, or you are spending some days in the city, you should go to Paragraph, I don't think you'll regret it.More

I have stayed in Brest for a month while visiting my family and was regular customer to this coffee shop. I have tried everything from the menu, sandwiches, tarts, cakes and cookies . I would have liked to see more sandwiches on a menu (they...were fantastic) but not too sure if the food was selling well. The coffee is always great and they use good quality coffee beans and baristas actually know how to prepare a good coffee. The staff in a café is young, trendy and look very fashionable. I have really enjoyed atmosphere of the café and was very pleased to discover that second brunch has opened recently. Best wishes for a future.More
