I've been going to the Black Forest for years - and simply love it! But, they have now gone over the top with their AMAZING Cronuts! If you do nothing else, stop by and grab one with a cup of coffee... Fabulous! Along with their shortbread decorated cookies, scones and everything else! I have never had a bad meal or... More

My friend and I dined here on the way back to Manchester after hiking at Mt. Monadnock. It's a nice restaurant but casual attire is fine. She's vegan and I'm gluten-free. Any of their sandwiches can be made as a gluten-free wrap. Instead of fries, they serve delicious roasted potatoes as a side. They also have a bakery that had... More

While they do not have a huge menu, they have some interesting selections. My wife had the chicken pot pie and I chose the Thai rice bowl. Both were well prepared and had a great flavor to them. The lunch menu also features salads and sandwiches. Though they do have a dessert menu, I always like going into the bakery... More

Black Forest has been a favorite place for lunch for many years. This time, however, we went for dinner. The menu is quite different from the last time I was there, with Vietnamese and Korean offerings. My dinner partner enjoyed the chicken rice bowl and I enjoyed my seafood crepes. The service is friendly and prompt. Delightful looking desserts are... More

The four of us went there on Martin Luther King Day. The place was busy, but this didn't interfere with our service. I had the Mediterranean Falafel Salad, which is Unique, tasty and healthy. My husband had the Reuben. My son had the cheeseburger. It was served with their homemade ketchup. My daughter had the childrens' pasta. It was fun... More

I have never been disappointed here. I've been going since they opened. I don't know how many quarts of soup we've bought, but they've all been good. The baked goods are superb. I've had many birthday cakes from here, as well as scones, fig bars, and cookies. The restaurant is also fantastic. Never had bad service or food. The second... More

i cannot resist the banana cream pie!! There are so many wonderful things, I never leave with less than 5 items. Their little wraps are really good too. The chicken salad is my favorite! Great place for holiday specialities or anytime you need a little sweetness in you day.
