We've eaten at a number of great Ann Arbor restaurants during our many stays. This last trip, we were in a kick-back-and-relax mood, and our host suggested Casey's. Excellent suggestion. This is a great local hangout, where everyone seems to know everyone and you're made to feel welcome. Food was excellent bar food - my colleagues said their hot dog... More

When in Ann Arbor, go to Casey's. Every time I've been here its been crowded, but never a big wait. I always get Casey's Favorite - so yummy. We always start the meal with a order of onion rings. There's a good vibe here, it's Ann Arbor, but slightly removed. Kind of feels like you belong.

Good food, good atmosphere, real people. Debbie is awesome. Convenient location right across from the train depot too.

Restaurant was very busy and had to wait long time to sit down. Plus food was okay but very expensive.

Casey's is a neighborhood-style bar that enjoys a loyal following. On this Friday the after-work crowd was filling up the place by 6 pm. I ordered a "plain burger" (no fries, $8.25) and beer (lots of variety here for a small place); the sauteed onions were an extra $.75. Service was fast and friendly, and, to my surprise, the burger... More

This is a favorite place of ours. It's a bar and grill type place, but with the emphasis on the food. Good food with rotating specials, reasonably priced. They have a veggie sandwich that we like. Also good soups. They're known for their onion rings the size of donuts. It is a little off the beaten path (across from the... More

Super expensive, very so so food, no parking. Plenty of other places have better value for money in a more convenient location

Love this place. Had an extra 30 minutes so I had time for a cup of chili and a beer. Got there at 11:30, already a good crowd, but still room to find a seat. Chili how I like it - shredded beef, onions, sour cream- and the nice bartender gave me a couple of tasters from their beers on... More

Always reliable. Favorites are the turkey burger, onion rings and soup of the day. However, the purist always goes for the burger and large variety of toppings. Super friendly service - staff has been there for a long time.

Great smallish tavern on the edge of Ann Arbor, and I say that a because in the middle of Ann Arbor, traffic can be testy. Good place for burgers. Also have a variety of speciality sandwiches that are very good. Try the Casey Favorite, pastrami and turkey grilled on rye. Also a Salmon sandwich which my wife loved. Good place... More
