Very casual, very good, very authentic. The staff is friendly, its family owned, and has a killer chicken tikka.

Taste of India/Suvai is our go-to for Indian food near Ann Arbor. I eat mostly plants; the baingan bartha (eggplant) and Andhra Masala Dosa are my favorites. My daughter likes the chicken tikka masala.
The daily lunch buffet is one of the hottest spots on a street full of choices. The price of the buffet is very budget friendly and the spicy food stays within the 'tolerable' range except for a very few selections. Recommendations? Even if you're not...More
The Sunday buffet offers a wide variety of Indian foods, vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian. I highly recommend it.

Great food and equally great service. Manager Prabhu is very friendly and attentive. Butter chicken and palak paneer is a must try. Desert Rasmalai is really delicious too. Best thing is close proximity to the central UfM campus.
I have visited this restaurant before but somehow my latest visit really struck a chord. It was Xmas eve and the place was dead. The decor of the place will not impress nor will the speed of the service, however if its the food you're...More
The food is very representative of good southern Indian food. Just the right amount of spice and heat. The goat was tender and perfectly cooked. The dosas were just wonderful. Very nice gullab jamun. Very reminiscent of the wonderful food one can find in Brixton...More
