Kimchee strew is awesome! I prefer to eat-in, sometimes food to go get cold when you are at home. :)

Visited this restaurant for the first time on a business lunch the other day and had a great experience. The ox tail soup is very good as are the pot stickers, spicy beef and curry rice. Lots of flavor, good service and prices are very reasonable. Their kitchen is open which in my opinion is always a plus , highly... More

My wife and I were looking to try something new in Ann Arbor and we found this little humble looking restaurant near the U of M. When we first walked in we were a little surprised on how small the place is, but were quickly impressed with the friendliness of the staff, and willingness to explain the dishes to us... More

Kang's is a small, quick-service restaurant - nothing fancy. The food is pretty solid. I usually order the spicy shrimp and the wontons. The spicy beef is really good, too. They offer a limited number of small tables, so this isn't the best place for a big group.

For those who know nothing about Korean food, try Bi Bim Bop. It is easy to say and it is delicious. Kang's does it very well.

Hi There Adventurer! A lunch at Kang`s was $19 for two. Portion size of Bi Bim Bop was generous but the veggies were tired, not crispy and included iceberg lettuce which I usually stay clear of.. We asked twice for extra sauce .The beef was not tasty, just boiled and a bit chewy but when mixed up with sesame oil... More

It is a fast-food restaurant, but every order is prepared individually. The food is extremely tasty, especially the tofu stew. The spicy vegetable/tofu/meat dishes are excellent, too. The decor is very basic. The main drawback is the occasional group of loud students.

We went with a group of 11 which took up about half the place. It's on the eastern edge of the South University student strip, and certainly is a no-frills place (don't go there if you're looking for fanciness or romantic ambiance) but the service was swift, the selection good, the food very good, the prices low. Well worth it.

My husband and I have dined at Kang's over 50 times, and ALWAYS enjoy the authentic Korean food! Our favorites include the spicy chicken, potstickers, vegetarian dishes, and kimchee (homemade on site). Great value!
