I was craving baba ganoush and it was my first time there, so that's all I ordered - the pita bread was lovely, fresh, delicious. But the baba ganoush? It was guacamole green and while I could detect a heavy, smoky flavor in there somewhere.... it was drowning in parsley. I've never even had it with parsley in it before.... More

Very tasty food with slightly different flavoring and ingredients than most other local Middle Eastern spots. The sandwiches are very large and delicious, especially the chicken tawook.

If you are looking for an amazing meal, look no further. This is one of my all time favorite spots in Ann Arbor. I have dined in but prefer takeout. The meals are so tasty, and a great value. Try the chicken shwarma mix plate!

As a first time customer, I wasn't sure what to do when we Walked in, there was very little direction from anyone when we walked in, even though we walked in right at 11:00 and there were no other customers and 3 employees standing there. We figured out that we had to go to the counter to order. Although I... More

We stopped here for a quick bite to eat last week. The ordering process was a little cumbersome, it took a while for someone to get to the counter and for us to understand the options. Once we ordered we found a table. Most of the tables were not cleaned and there were a few delivery/staff members just looming around.... More

Don't expect to get out of here in a hurry. The food comes slowly but it is very good. Seating is minimal. On cold days sit away from the doors you will freeze the minute that door opens. Its not a fancy place but it is clean and simple. Many people order food for take away. It seems to be... More

I love this place for 3 reasons. 1-chicken shawarma is delicious. The pita tastes fresh and fluffy, and the slaw is an added bonus. Just delicious. 2-an often overlooked item is the French fry. The are very good here, and are served with Cajun style spice. 3-falafel balls with dipping sauce. Very good. However, I can usually only eat a... More

Love this restaurant - one of our go to spots. The food is yummy, atmosphere is dated but the food is yummy. We love the chicken shwarma sandwiches and the shwafel (shwarma and felafel) sandwiches. Lentil soup is awesome. The spices are a different style from Lebanese Middle Eastern and the sandwiches have more vegetables and salad m(chopped cabbage, lettuce,... More

I was really excited because there are a number of tasty restaurants to grab falafel in town, but this place is named for it. I have tried 5 different restaurants and this place has the weakest falafel, it is underseasoned. I guess I had high expectations, go elsewhere for falafel.

The exterior blends in with everything else in the area. To be honest, I'd never have stopped by this location if not taken on a date by someone that had visited previously. Even walking into the restaurant, everything looks like some type of diner that was never properly decorated. That being said, as soon as you walk to the counter,... More
