Went here for dinner and had the lasagne. Definitely do not go for it! I was suffering from the altitude and needed a big hearty meal but what I got was watery and tasteless. Maybe go if you like coffee but dinner is a definite no no!

First night in Potosi, and had read previous reviews, so went there. Yes, staff were offhand. Large, French type main room, menu suitable for lunches, coffee & cake. We had the lasagne & a salad which was adequate and nice. However, as we had been travelling all day, would have welcomed a more substantial meal. One of our glasses was... More

We stopped here this afternoon for coffee and cake. The location is great, right on the main square. Get a table by the window. The coffee (1 cappuccino and 1 cafe con leche) was nothing special but still decent. The cakes were excellent! We had a chocolate cake and a lemon tart. Would definitely recommend these. Overall it's a great... More

Right on the square so great location. Service is slow. Food is nice, nothing special but nice. The owners seems to be a one man show so run off his feet. Nice place if you're not in a rush.

This pleasant, cafe located right on the main plaza, provides good food and decent coffee with a tranquil ambience to restore the footsore traveller. The only minus point is the persistently terse and unsmiling waiter who cannot be cajoled into communicating more than he finds absolutely necessary. If you ignore this, a visit here for refreshments is highly recommended.

We were 'thirsty' for a European coffee experience and were brought to La Plata by our guide. My wife and I had our fill of specialty coffees and some Nachos with yummy salsa. The only hitch was the Spanish menus and staff with no familiarity with English! Overall we enjoyed the visit. We didn't think of the pricing much, however... More

20 bs for a long black - This isn't Melbourne!! I wouldn't mind paying it if a) that's what I'd ordered and b) it was any good. Nice place, but terrible coffee.

This is one of the prettiest coffee shops I've seen in South America, let alone Bolivia. Go and enjoy a coffee, lunch, or snack. Whatever you do order the Hot Chocolate de Plata or something like that! My own critique is the owner is not friendly and a bit aloof. The other staff I saw weren't that friendly either but... More

Stopped in for a coffee before taking the bus out of Potosi. After 6 weeks of disappointing coffee in alot of places i ordered a Cortado con Leche and i could not only taste the coffee for once but it was delicious as well.

If you arrive in Potosí with altitude sickness you can get take away food from here which was excellent. We were here almost everyday on our trip to Potosí, excellent coffee, great juices and food. The muesli with yogurt and fruit was amazing as where the salads and the pasta. On our last night in Potosí we decided to try... More
