Upon our arrival at the restaurant (located inside the Burj Al Arab), the manager informed us that the shoes my dad was wearing was not appropriate and that he would have to change them in order to be allowed into the restaurant. We understand that a restaurant of this calibre should have a strict dress code, so we went and... More

My family and I had dinner in early January which booked by phone 3 days in advanced. The restaurant situation is amazing with huge aquarium in the center. The staff are very welcomed and help us to select the courses. The oyster is serving very well and fresh. The caviar is very tasty with its special seasoning. The courses are... More

As a decor and ambience this is a very charming and romantic place and probably one of the best restaurants in Dubai decor wise. Service is friendly but inefficient for a restaurant of this standard. I had to pour water myself. Chocolates were brought after we paid the bill and were leaving. No one cares to ask how was the... More

I have had the privilege of dining at Restaurant Nathan Outlaw in Port Issac and Indre the pleasure of meeting the gifted and talented master of seafood Chef Nathan Outlaw. On a regular visit to UAE I ensured I made a reservation at one Dubai's most recent restaurants. Of course many travellers will know The Burj Al Arab. "The Sail"... More

Beautiful setting, food was great, menu selection a bit limited and thought it was a bit overpriced and w are used to high prices. Went on our first night in Dubai and you really shouldn't miss it but had better food elsewhere...still a great visit!

I decided to book a table after hearing great reviews about this restaurant & knowing this is a fantastic hotel having stayed before. We love seafood & had heard this was the best seafood in Dubai. When we got there we were seated near the big fish tank right on the corridor it was cold & didn't have a nice... More

We arrived at the restaurant that is in Burj Al Arab which btw, the lobby was beautiful! (Only saw the lobby because we stayed at the Four Points) Perhaps this is my husbands fault but he didn't wear a jacket and one was required. Instead they mandated he wear a jacket they provided. It was extremely huge on him which... More

The Lobster Risotto is worth going back for. The orange, basil, spring onions combined well for the base- and nothing tastes better than well-cooked risotto with fresh lobster. The Sea Bream with Chicory Marmalade Tart was also combined well with Pink Grapefruit & Pistachio. The rest of the dishes were not as memorable. We had lunch, and passed on the... More

It's quite sad that a venue of this calibre would have such average food. The venue is spectacular! Starting from one's entrance to Burj Al Arab (I don't care how much you've travelled or what you've seen in other places, this hotel will blow your socks off), the descent through the elevator and to the point where one steps into... Luxury interiors, huge aquarium, possibility to sit outside for an after meal digestive drinks. This place is unique, luxurious and suitable for a very special occasion you might have. Service is perfect, food is top class, wine list is sooo huge. But be prepared to pay a very big bill - but experience is totally worth it.
