We had dinner in this restaurant on a weekend and enjoyed it. We had a Mediterranean sea bream and a fried sea bass together with some appetizers. The food came quickly enough and was good, especially the fried fish. It is recommended to chose the fish in person, since many were old and you can pick the freshest one if... More

Went with the family on a Thursday night - it was pretty empty. However, the service was very poor. The calamari had "fluff" on it - which meant it had obviously been dropped on the floor and put back. We didn't get charged for it but received not a single apology. Rest of the food was OK - but sadly... More

Fresh fish display and a variety of ways to have it cooked. I had Sea Bream. Husband chose the local Hammour. We both opted for the Alexandrian / Egyptian style "Singary" and had plenty of side dishes - we had tabouleh, baba ghanoush, etc. Good service (not spectacular) and average atmosphere. But the great food made up for it.

It's not exactly out of the way, but the again i doubt most residents of Dubai or taxi drivers know where this place is, so look out for the large barracuda fish tails rising from the roof and you should find the place. The fish dishes here are amazing as are the small starter dishes - grab a few while... More

We had been looking for a waterside restaurant for our last night's dinner for some time and eventually stumbled upon Barracuda. Knowing nothing about it, we sat down to watch the dinner cruise boats setting off and enjoyed all the people-watching. The service at Barracuda was very attentive whilst the decor in the outside area at least, was pretty basic.... More

Great, delicious seafood options as well other food choices. Big seating areas both inside and outside. Outside ares has nice views of the marina and people watching. Excellent and friendly service. Surprisingly well priced for the quality. Note that the restaurant doesn't serve alcohol.

Another day came sick in Barracuda in Marina walk after a long working day. Attacked by flu, ordered a seafood soup. Asked to make it spicy & hot. The manager of the restaurant Atef was kind to remind me several times that the soup is getting cold and I have to have it as soon as possible to enjoy it... More

Superb food. Should try out their Denise Singaary and Sayadiya rice. Go to the fish display, choose your fish, get it weighed, choose the way you want it and lo! Muah! Love it!

LOVE the food and it's nice because it's not glitzy & glamour which you see all over Dubai but very authentic. The only thing that could improve is faster service. It was extemelyyyy busy so they were a bit understaffed. A HUGE recommendation if you love seafood & Arabic flavors! 😍

Staying in The Marina

Neighbourhood Profile
The Marina
It’s hard to believe that only a decade ago there was no marina. Opened in 2003, the man-made marina runs along a 3km stretch of shoreline. A heady mix of luxurious hotels, apartment buildings, and cafes, the marina hosts regular community events and markets, and is a wonderful place to while away an afternoon or evening. Spectacular at night when the skyscrapers glisten, here you can enjoy dinner on the beach next to the sea, or visit a high-rise bar in a hotel for a magnificent view across the Gulf and the man-made Palm Island, with the world-famous Atlantis Hotel at its end. The Walk at Jumeirah beach Residences is a pedestrianized stretch leading to a new development: The Beach. It’s one of the few places where Gulf nationals mix with tourists and Western ex-pats. It’s a popular place to show off your supercar for an evening, so watch out for Lamborghinis, Maseratis, and Ferraris in abundance.
